Nah, they'd have to add them to the consoles as well as the code is unified between the platforms. Wouldn't count on animals on this iteration of GTAO as cool as that'd be. :p

I don't even understand the hard-on people have for animals in this game, it would be just like adding more NPCs to random wilderness areas...Cool for fleshing out the world and make it more lively, but considering that the majority of the players never leaves the city I just don't see how much impact this would have on the game as a whole, given the effort it could be to implement this.

 

And besides, I don't think I'd enjoy to be mauled by a cougar because I got distracted during a mission...

I mean, not having animals around makes the rural areas feel pretty desolate. Especially when there are animals everywhere in single player. Having pets, hunting, or just interacting with animals makes the world feel more immersive and connected. Seeing the same 12 cars on the street and no animals has always bugged me and I thought it’d be rectified with E&E, but I guess it’s just too heavy of an undertaking. like, I understand V is a ten year old game but gtaO2 has no reason to not have animals.

@Tez2 Glad you also noticed them. It's amazing seeing DLC vehicles being used in Free-roam, even though they're not on the traffic.

I swear, GTA Online used to be what most online games are. The world used to be very barren (it still feels barren without animals). It has NPCs that aren't as interactive as the ones in SP.

This is what lack of foresight and planning gets you, it no wonder this game's coding is so sh*t and nightmarish to work on.

I get that this is a live-service game, but they seriously need to work on their programming tools. It took them almost a decade to add something very innovative (the MOC and Facility doesn't count). The code has now spaghettified, so they can't update old features as easily.

Was doing 1 lap 'street racing' with my two accounts and one in yellow car pass through finish and won, did some usual blinking & disappearing from my other character perspective - and reappearing without player character back on track behind finish line!

Reminds me of an old bug I had.  Leaving a race, I found myself simultaneously in a Freemode session, and a race.  It gave this weird bug where I could see players finish their race without them seeing me.

How about this idea? R* lets us have 4-5 hangars an we can fill them all the same way as the 1st hangar and they remove some of the non-soloable sell missions. That way, we could have multiple "garages" for our hangars without putting some of them on storage. I haven't bought the Tula, Bombushka, and Coanda yet, and I also want show space for my Alkonost. My aircraft are mostly ones from GTA San Andreas and some from my military collection that wasn't in GTA before.

I don't have any aircrafts on my storage because I have my aircrafts neatly positioned on my hangar in such a way that their order on in the interaction menu doesn't bother me, on top of also looking cool and realistic whenever I get in my hangar.

 

Putting aircrafts on the storage messes up the order the aircrafts appears on the interaction menu and that annoys me.

 

I do think we need more storage for aircrafts though, 20 slots is too little...Also more customization options for all Pegasus aircrafts, all unarmed aircrafts needs to come flares as standard and chaff and smoke as optional upgrades.

Yeah I understand that, but if you go to those areas in singleplayer you will see that those area still feels desolated because the animals aren't exactly part of the environment neither do they interact much with it.

 

If the animals behaved and were more connected to the environment more or less like they are on RDR2, then I would see and agree with the net benefits of adding them to online, but as they are on V singleplayer it would just be pointless, not many people talk about how the animals in SP are "just there" in the environment and don't really add much to the game at all.

 

And again, most players stays in the city because that's the most Interesting part of the game map, so if R* would go through the effort of adding them to this game it would be just a waste of time...Just look at the aircraft carrier: Countless players wanted to see it in freeroam, and now, two years after we got it in freeroam, barely anyone cares enough to go check it out when a business battle comes up and now we got framerates getting absolutely crushed on last gen consoles because of it.

 

(I often wonder if the insane framerate drop on last gen because of the aircraft carrier business battle could be fixed, one of the fixes that I thought about was moving the carrier all the way up north in Paleto Bay, since then it would be very far away from Los Santos, which is where the framerates drops when the business battle comes up)

I saw Floorball's last month's footage when he encountered the truck at LSIA, one of the exact spawn points. I realized that apart from forcing event triggered and quickly tp, it's impossible to have that during a normal gameplay.

No surprise the testing result is more worse than I thought. At the beginning of 20th minute, a truck from nowhere starts driving to a god-knows-where spot. Highway? nuh, What's worse you may not find it anywhere - you don't even know whether it has arrived or not. And yeah, it doesn't have siren like the McReary van, means you can't hear to know.

I could already imagine ppl complaining how useless and awful this event be when it's released.

edit: glad there's no award of it, so it doesn't really matter. however, if anyone tries getting this event to resupply your business, or earn a 30k easy money, well, better quit it.

Basically what every aircraft needs are countermeasures since all of them are weak asf. I wish aircrafts didn't take up PVs when spawned. They spawn too far away to be even that useful. Luckily, Pegasus aircraft could spawn in more places.

I remember as a noob to GTA Online I bought a CEO Stanier and painted it pink thinking whenever I requested it from the ceo vehicle list it would be that pink one. So along with customizing Pegasus vehicles I think the whole CEO list of vehicles including the Buzzard could be a custom variant. 

 

And they should add the jetpack to the MC bike menu because R* go Brrrrrrr.

 

PLEASE FIX THE AIRCRAFT BLIPS ON THE MINI MAP. I NEED TO KNOW IF ITS A VELUM OR GOD DAMN PYRO! LOL

TBH, I don't care that much about speed, but the Jetpack is almost useless since the OpMk2 is easier to spawn. Facility-only vehicles should be on the same criteria as the warehouse and nightclub vehicles. I just want to snap into the Interactive Menu, scroll down, and spawn my jetpack, dammit!

Flares ? why not missile jammers? We have them with imani tech, we should have them with any and all unarmed only aircrafts.

Agency Part 2: Imani tech spreads to the hangar boogaloo... and also rigs it so that we can own two of them. 

 

It would make sense from a stinky fish card perspective: Want to protect an aircraft? Buy a hangar, buy the mechanic, buy the Imani addon for the mechanic, buy the aircraft, buy the Imani option you want (armour, jammer, remote control?) = profit. 

 

And from an Agency job point of view, maybe we fly to Cayo Perico in our newly protected aircraft to collect / rescue some VIPs or something. Or do some more glorified errand-person collect/deliver tasks.

It better be from the Aircraft Carrier. The payment should be more than $100k. I'm not flying down south for a couple minutes, and possibly use a slow-ass plane or boat on my way back just for a meager $50k I could get from my clubhouse. I'm not travelling back and forth to Cayo from Fort Zancudo if I have say on it.

We definitely need lock on jammers for some unarmed helicopters and aircraft in general. The one from the last update would have been perfect if you could spawn it in next to you and it had a lock on jammer. That and a weaponized variant. Wasted opportunity imo.

You can actually dodge all missiles in a Jetpack by just flying in a straight line. The back of the Jetpack has some sort of forcefield resulting the missiles to explode just before reaching you. Subscribe for more tips and tricks

Funny bug: If you start the mission Casino - Strong Arm Tactics (Ms. Baker) alone, you will notice that Tao and his translator open their mouths only when each other is speaking. If you start the mission with other players, you will find one Ms. Baker in the car, and another Baker standing around the vineyard:prismkek:. They are twins, right? :prismkek:

it was just an update to the cheat menu signature scanner. nothing has changed at simeon's, the hash is still for the greenwood and the readable name probably was removed from the bot's dictionary by accident
