It's for flavour, not supposed to be realistic. It snows in bloody swamp climates in RDO  Regardless, every year the snow is divisive amongst the community, some love it some dislike it. I like it, quite a few people used to say the length of time was too short, especially because it used to be disabled at random for just a few days between Xmas and New Years. It'll be back to normal soon for those who dislike it anyway.

I think a good compromise could be getting rid of the weird period without snow between Xmas and New Year like they did this year, and not extend it into the 2nd week of January, instead disabling it in the 1st week. They're probably experimenting and gauging reactions with this one tbh, so maybe next year it'll be more balanced.

also, R* did a real whack job with the virtue textures. 

 

the tailights are just reused from the corsita but the headlights are just PHOTOSHOP WARPED versions of the corsita texture.

 

they should've just mapped it warped or copied corsita headlights lol

Its safe to say that new missions will be same day with that car, and as we can see there's plenty of vehicles to come before Virtue will be available.

Im not saying it will be the last vehicle as drip feed in DLC, but do we really think it will be released in next 3/4 weeks?

Good theory. In fact, the Virtue will be our reward vehicle as well.

 

The website order is the most consistent, but we have the tunables order as well.

We have about 4 new vehicles before the Virtue, but that's not accounting for the Taxi and the Brickade 6x6 being purchasable.

 

According to the help texts, we would have the Brickade 6x6 available on Warstock before the Issi Rally release. And as per the tunables script, we would have the Taxi available right after the Brickade 6x6.

 

Keep in mind, the help texts and the script order aren't really consistent and could turn out to be simply placeholders. Like what occurred with the Criminal Enterprises update, the script order was mostly correct except for the Brioso 300 Widebody. However, the website order correctly predicted the Brioso 300 Widebody to be available before the 10F Widebody.

All in all, the Virtue isn't arriving until February and that's when we could expect the Last Dose missions to be released.

My guess is March. Three months after the initial release to make it appear they are quarterly releases. R* with their current dripfeed ways probably won't want Last Dose to interfere with the regular Valentines Day stuff so the first half of February is out of the picture.

 

Actually, this gets me thinking. The Broadway would fit in fairly well with the other Valentines Day mob stuff. My guess is we'll get it on 2/9 for Valentines Day weekend. If that's the case, and website order matters, then the Virtue would be on 2/23 at the earliest, but probably early March to be realistic.

Are those jobs not platform dependent like most others? I mean I know they're the same on all platforms but curious to know if there's copies of them for each platform, different listings, as other jobs have a platform associated. Or are R* "jobs" special in the sense that they're always cross-platform and there's no separate listings?

Platform-independent. You access the same content ID on PC as another player would on PS5.

 

The jobs themselves are designed to be platform-independent as well. But the extra restriction is due to the Owner ID variable being linked with the Platform Account ID.

Used to be, but over the past two years it varies depending on pre planed events (Drauger / CP races was one instance IIRC).

I totally forgot we’re getting that… lol now I’m gonna be fiending for it as I genuinely do need the space. So many excellent new cars the past two years have given us that I’d love to have multiple versions of. R* really stepped up the quality of their vehicle design around 2019.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they add more taxis in the future (or cars with taxi liveries)

 

they added a new hotring so it's no longer one make

maybe issi classic custom (rebody)?

 

If next dlc isn't g9 exclusive, i'd say 2 more hsw cars, along with either bennys, tuners, or imani tech (or any combo or that three or whatever 'special' vehicles 'classes' there are)

 

maybe we'll get r* official kart races and new karts?

more open wheelers was already done, so that mightn't be on the table as soon...
