And I Guess you couldn't use the 2 new cars with the taxi livery once unlocked (and same with the Dynasty wich have a taxi livery?)

The benefit of owning one is that you can start the missions anywhere you like.

The 600k taxi is a Pegasus vehicle same as the Arena War version. If you have that version, you can skip paying 600k.

I do hope we get the Taxi stuff sooner rather than later, I want some more classic GTA stuff Online :sadkek:

For real. I thought they were gonna put that Pizzaboy up for sale, but nope. They might as well give us Ice Cream and Firefighting activities.

They should update the Dynasty and add a Downtown Cab livery for it. The existing livery is for Indian Cabs. But the yellow flame livery looks okay, though.

Pictures have been posted of the unreleased stuff outside of car liveries.

 

Not sure what they will do or when they will unlock all this stuff. There is stuff all the way till April since there is a weed suit.

 

Oh and there is a bunch of drip-feed clothing that will be released when the second part of the update comes out.

its not part of the actual vehicle. Its just a prop stuck to it like boxes i the back of a truck

currently in my game (Series X/S) its motomami it happened during the first week of the DLC and they changed back during the gooch event release but seemingly something they have attached to tuneables possibly as opposed to updating permanently

The creator is way way better in RDO than GTAO but what really make it works is engine in the game where hair can move around. But not all hair styles moves tho! But I don´t know what R* changed in the game but we got some kind of fat effect/bug where our characters got more rounded faces.

I had a feeling before even looking at a youtube video about the payouts of the taxi business being quite poor considering the idea of what it is. But it's kind of disheartening to actualize the reality of how low it is in this game's current economy. I'll probably get the 10 fares in a row done to get the trade price on the taxi and likely never do it again, or just here and there very occasionally. Could've had much more potential with this business. I would've preferred to actually own it and have it as a passive income opportunity, potentially with upgrades to make it better.

To me it sounds like its more of a roleplay activity than anything else. For example if you want a character to not be a criminal or whatever. I don't think this was ever meant to be a money making alternative to the actual criminal businesses.

Its a hard pill to swallow for some apparently. You saw it, they are in straight up denial. Maintenance mode is inevitable and will come eventually.
Will it be right now or even soon ? Nope probably not. A lot of people conflate the idea of maintenance mode with the game dying/shutting down when its not the case. The game can be in maintenance mode and that means no new update and content and maybe some occasional event weeks/discounts and thats it and still go on for another buncha years.

Yeah, no doubt that the focus will begin to shift. Though I had a thought yesterday about them continuing to feed micro content into this game still post GTA 6/Online V2 launch in a move focusing on releasing cars for both games at the same time. At least for a time. My thought is that this would be a way for them to continue to capitalize on an existing but relatively capped superspace in current GTAO while also catering to a new and growing playerbase on the new title. Since we've started seeing backported cars from VI already, I can see the trend continuing past the new release, at least in theory.

Sad that they made Cayo Perico harder, but still doable. Just gotta find the disguise and not shoot anyone. I think it'll take me a dozen seconds shy of 15 mins. with enough practice.

 

Good thing that we have means to add more Bunker supplies. Makes free roam more worthwile and the overall grind less monotonous. I've been grinding Cayo and Crates for months before I had my hiatus from July to December. Might as well restart the grind after the Cayo nerf and start pumping more payphone hits as well as some GTAO story missions.

 

What's left for R* to do is buff up Biker Sales and make them at least 1.5x more profitable since they take a lot of time to fill and gives half a profit. Not to mention they take 10-15 mins most of the time, if you're not given the Post-Op vans. 1.5x profit should be the bare minimum for those businesses. I still do them every now and then to cool off from the monotony (particularly coke and meth).

 

Since the latest Cayo Nerf, I only do free roam stuff like Payphone Hits, and Business deliveries and Business Sales. Drug dealers should at least help me lay off some stocks before I sell them in bulk. XD

PC should get RTGI. I'm sure R* can do it a lot better than most mods.

I'll still do taxi jobs just because I find them relaxing and fun, but I agree 100% that the pay is pathetic. It shouldn't be Cayo-level pay by any means but come on!

 

I'm really hoping Rockstar will buff the payouts before release. From what I remember, the smuggler plane and flare freemode events were originally planned to be $10K but that was increased to $25K before release. I'm hoping the same will happen with taxi jobs.
