Hopefully tomorrow we receive a juicy newswire with the heist Challenge results and some info about dlc, they probably show the prize as well, probably a vehicle or a property...

They did anyway, and it turned out to be one of the best games ever made.

 

Red Dead Redemption 2.

 

They didn't "need" to rush it because they got money coming in, and they handcrafted it to be the masterpiece that it was.

 

They don't need to make a new game as you say, yet the new game is being made right now.

 

The only thing cash cards have actually done so far is that they made them more comfortable sitting on a game until they are happy with it rather than rushing it out there to meet the pipeline goals.

As expected, that is a lot of moolah lol. Also, another thing of note, they usually say "in the coming weeks/days/months" or "soon", there's no time frame now. Hmm. Hopefully tomorrow?  

As for the new vehicle, I do wonder what we'll get, given that 2020 was a go kart

Cayo Perico and a higher amount of players, remember Tuners smashed their player records across platforms as well. It's not hard at all. And it wasn't a month in 2020, it was a week too.

I also keep seeing this opinion sometimes, not really here only but in general, that GTA Online is "dying" or "people don't play it" or "don't care anymore", you know that's not true lol. Especially not the casuals that is not this forum.

Yeah I'm not arguing they wouldn't do it anyway, I'm more incredulous that people think it *has* to be fake or something when this game has so many players and so many people doing heists, this forum alone (or Reddit or whatever) isn't the bigger sample of players at all.

 

That said I'm still kept wondering wtf is gonna be the vehicle, and hopefully it'll be better than a go-kart

I like how we have no way in telling that this goal was actually met. For all we know we could've ended up at 1,8T and Rockstar is all like "yeah f*ck it, 4T, GG guys lol". I wonder what the actual numbers are..
