I think you're al set. With the current pace you're collecting those crates i think we're already halfway there. With that same mentality you'll be grinding those heists for the 2T in no-time!

we will never see the telemetry or the stats, therefore we will never know the exact amount stolen in total. the only people who have to power to see exactly how much was stolen is rockstar themselves

 

meaning, even if objectively 2 trillion is not gonna be stolen (and again we will never know that), rockstar can still and most likely will lie and pretend that 2 trillion was stolen. they already have a reward in mind, and they are set on giving it to people otherwise they wouldn't have teased it and would have just waited until the challenge is over to tease it.

so, nothing to worry about you can already consider this challenge completed one way or another

We still have to enter the challenge by participating in a finale tho.

btw i remember i didnt participate in 2020's challenge due to legit reasons and still,even i got the Veto Classic because I "logged in during the time of the challenge"

I doubt that the prize will be awarded no matter it's completed or not, since R* is the only one who knows the exact amount of total heist income.

Reminds me of that "battle of soda" earlier, only way to know the score, is to check R*'s posts... If R* want to make it competitive, why not just open the data to public?

Not sure if GTAO is equipped with the kinda tech to do this but it would've been really cool to have a live counter for the challenge that gets updated from in-game data, kinda like Fortnite did multiple times with their events.

Back in 2020 I went through Doomsday and the original heists to "contribute".

 

Lemme just clarify because my memory of the event is a little blurry, we were challenged to do 1 billion right? and we did 1 trillion instead.
