If any of you have been aware of that, the daily cash vault during DCH this week is cut.

There are 45 grabs for the daily cash. Originally for each grab, the value is set between [550, 2200], thus [24750, 99000] in total. This has been changed to a much less value, adjusted through tunables.

"E1E3FEDA": 525,
"2A87B011": 225,

Thus, only [10125, 23625] in total this week, which is literally worth nothing. A few gunshots and they are gone.

I honestly have no idea about why they did this. Maybe it has something to do with the "max limit" problem on PC, or maybe it is just an oversight. Anyway Tuesday is coming, I hope they fix this.

That certainly would explain why the amount I got off the daily vault in a DCH Aggressive run yesterday was lost instantly :sadkek:

Wrong place for this, but could you imaging if they actually did proper remakes with RAGE instead of cheaping out and using Unreal, AI up scaling and a bunch of babies first game devs? I don’t mind the graphics of the DE games so much as the engine they run on and the physics. My goal now is to find a working PS2 and dig out my old discs to play them as originally intended.

 

This heist event has been pretty fun. I’ve had two excellent CPH runs with the panther statue and linked up with an equally seasoned random to smash out a Big Con approach for DCH I had already set up with diamonds. Needless to say, my second account is already sitting pretty for the Dec DLC when it comes to money saved up. Fingers crossed for some good stuff to splurge it on..

They released "The Introduction" for that as a short movie kinda thing which showcased all the events that lead to GTA San Andreas.

 

A story set 2 years or so before would've been cool though.

 

On that topic of Radio Stations, I normally turn the radio off in my playthroughs of GTAs with some exceptions, but I will ALWAYS leave it for GTA Vice City Stories, that game's music selection was a gem.

LCS and VCS came in the very end of the 3D era, so one San Andreas Stories didn't make through in time, i guess or it never as a plan to begin with.

So i think it's about time to speculate about the new QoL's and (vehicle) nerfs in the upcomming title update. We were blessed with some lovely QoL's the last DLC in terms of vehicle balance. The Mk2 for instance was nerfed (It's still immensely strong though), the Sparrow getting Chaff, no more insurance pay for destroying weaponized vehicles etc. I do hope they continue the trend of reducing griefing (Freezing K/D in Freemode for instance was a good step in the right direction). I wish to see the following:

 

- Add a "Join friends" menu directly from the landing page in E&E. Now i need to first join freemode and then join one of my friends after. Why?

- Remove the bad sport from destroying weaponized vehicles. Removing the insurance cost was a great start, let's go all the way!

- Transfering vehicles from garage to garage via a menu rather than physically driving them around

- Resupply (bunker) resources from the MOC/Terrorbyte/Avenger

- Remove the K/D stat completely in Freemode. Players can only see your K/D ratio during PvP/Adversary modes

- Surrounding players will be notified when a certain player exits passive mode to counter passive-popping

- Player will no longer be compensated when they orbitalstrike your RC car or when you're inside a MOC/Terrorbyte/Avanger.

- More nerfs to the MK2's rockets and tracking capabilities. The rockets are still way to powerfull for such an easy maneuverable vehicle

- Fix the MK2 hitbox. Players on the ground have an extremely hard time shooting people off their MK2, even with the musket and BST.

  The hitbox on the player is scuffed so you'll end up hitting the Mk2 itself instead of the player that's been harassing you

- More work-around fixes to the (casino) godmode glitches. The servers have been plagued with them for way to long

- A fix for the Nightclub god-mode speedo van. AfterHours is from 2018 people, this glitch has been in the game for 4,5 years now...

- For the love of god, fix the bug when your CEO interaction menu becomes unresponsive when someone leaves the server. You can't use your CEO abilities, call in a CEO vehicle etc. when a player leaves the session. it will just hang on "Contains CEO options". It's not just your CEO options either, sometimes the entire interaction menu becomes unresponsive when someone leaves the lobby

- Ability to remove unwanted phone contacts. At the very least re-organize them. Make the separation between players and services

- Fix the ability to shoot through walls when using a thermal scope/helmet

- Reduce the ability to spam RC vehicles. Add a timer between both the tank and the bandito to counter spamming them over and over

- Take another look into the thermal jets. Just remove the ability to change your CEO clothing style in an aircraft and you're all set. Given, it's extremely helpfull to kill NPC's but it's killing freemode in some degree when you have IIllIlllllI-x and xB4DSp0rT- using 2 of them in a lobby

- Add the possibility to add and edit custom plates directly from the mechanic. Why do we need to use an rather unnecessary app to create such an easy thing?

- Add imani tech (homing jammer to be precise) to non-weaponised aircraft. I just want to fly my Shamal or Velum in peace without -IshuraxLZ locking on the me for no particular reason

- Remove the ability to kill the shop cashiers in (clothing) stores resulting them to be closed. There is nothing more frustrating to be kicked from your store, minding your own business because some clown decides to blow everything up from the outside. This option already exists for the barber, why not inplement it to the AmmuNation and the clothing stores as well?

- Remove the cooldown for calling and returning non-weaponized vehicles. Why do i have a cooldown when i accidently called my wrong supercar? 

- Remove the CEO/VIP limit in lobbies

Agreeing with all of your excellent points! :yee:

I would add the following IMO reasonable piping dreams: 

  • Vehicles called through the Mechanic have their spawns fixed (so no longer appear on a different pier, for example) 
  • Countermeasure option added to the Sea Sparrow as per the Kosatka Sparrow. 
  • Fixing the gorram frame drops. 
  • The ability to (re)remove more map blips through the interaction menu (G for Gerald, both LDs for Lamar's Lowriders, H for Heists, etc.) 
  • Different random events on the minimap have different colours - so you can differentiate between which blip is a Sleeping Guard, which is an Exotic Export, which is a Police Scene etc. 
  • Adding chrome option to recently added / expanded wheel options (offroads, street, tuner etc.) 
  • The option to hide the Service Carbine from the weapon wheel is added as per the other Weapon Locker choices.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that glitch is patched on PC, right? Used to work before, but should be patched by now. I believe it had to do with Socialclub pop-ups. Although a god mode glitch on PC is the least of our concern.

 

This could line up with the reasoning from a dev. That Rockstar has the fix implementation, but it involves changes to Sony & MS network as well. Because a step of the glitch is that you spam the platform interface/menu so many times it interrupts Rockstar's network code. Sony & MS believes the issue isn't from their end. Worth noting that I don't know the full picture, so I wouldn't lay the blame on either side. If Sony & MS are to implement changes like that, they can't make an exclusive case for a single developer. Maybe Rockstar could fix the glitch, but their analysis showed that the technical debt is too high, there's a risk of breaking core components/systems across the way.

 

If Rockstar ever figures this out, then there's a chance this could lead to them patching the Casino Lucky Wheel glitch, Shipwreck glitch that allows you to collect the same shipwreck 7 times within a single day to unlock the clothing reward that actually should have taken you more than a single day. Plus, the heist replay glitches. So not exactly a win-win situation for some players.

You can already do that if you bought it.

If you got it free, by finding the parts you wont be able to.

 

The same bug applies to the fireworks launcher (if gifted through the christmas special) and the Navy Revolver.

Only way to fix this is to somehow get it removed from your weaponwheel (on PC you could ask a modder to take your weapons) and then buy the gun at ammunation.

The trick used for the Navy Revolver (eating a Peyote) doesnt work for other guns sadly.

To my knowledge, this glitch is indeed only present on consoles. You're on the money on how it's executed. You spam the PS5/PS4 home button on the controller when exiting your nightclub and your vehicle will magicly be in godmode. If they end up finding a workaround for this i assume they also implement some sort of workaround for the orbital refund glitch where you basicly just leave the session before the server can register the shot. They are 2 seperate glitches though. I guess glitches like these are very hard to patch because they're an exploit against how the game makes save intervals to the cloud and they need an title update for doing so. Maybe they can add an delay when the money gets deposited and when the money is refunded. The server will have enough time to save to the cloud with a 30 second delay between the shot and the money transfer. Just spitballin' here, obviously if it was that easy it would've been implemented already.

So we got two event weeks until December 1st(Long and final event week).One is Cayo but what about the other,Classic Heists? what about the Diamond Varsity Jacket and what about that Sprunk Jacket that we didnt get because of flawed/incorrect numbers?

 

December 1st event will let us know if we're getting a heist(GTAO:Kill Clifford MK2) this winter or a VIP contract(DRE Contract bonuses in this week) or Michael DLC(Bonuses on some freemode activities or other stuff).

 

I so badly want the Magnetic Cargobob and a flamethrower.R* Please, For the love of GTAO or Lester, Please give us Cargobob MkII.

Edit:Just remembered about Pacific Standard heist.(Everyone is always talkin about ignoring PS,so.....Lets hope they give it as a login reward)

I dont think they'll make weaponised vehicles stronger.They already Nerfed Oppressor MKII which pains me everytime  I do Prep work or try to destroy Police Helis.I think they'll nerf alot of players' loved vehicles. Imagine, the fire-rate of weaponised vehicles being toned-down to the FR of the Heavy Revolver. Or the scramjet's jump recharge being delayed for 15 seconds. This is R*,so...Be prepared for anything.

Well they gave the Sparrow counter measures in the last update. The Sparrow already was my to-go weaponized vehicle but it's god-tier now ever since i have chaff. More armor on the Chernobog is long overdue. Give it more armor and make it so only it can lock onto weaponized aircraft. Watch Rockstar give countermeasures to the Buzzard as well in the next DLC.

I'm pretty sure they'll be making more QoL changes after Criminal Enterprises, especially if for they decrease the scope of updates after this one to focus on GTA VI. I could see a lot more QoL stuff coming in the next couple updates which would be very nice.

- Transfering vehicles from garage to garage via a menu rather than physically driving them around

Agreed, if Johnny (no longer on the spot) can drive vehicles to us I'm sure he can be hired to rearrange things too :kekw:

Yeah, this is what I thought was gonna happen when they moved the calculation to be in instanced modes only, but it still shows up in stats. Maybe it needs some larger changes under the hood but it would be nice to see the K/D ratio taken away from Freemode.

Yup, I know you can scroll quickly by using right/left on the d-pad or keyboard arrows but it would be nice to have the option to hide some contacts much like blips on the map.

Especially when the app has been half-broken for a while due to it not supporting all the latest changes R* has done over time to the game. I was still getting crashing issues with the Criminal Enterprises patch, I think that kind of feature these days is better off being actually in-game - and please decrease the price, it's a bit ridiculous having to pay 6 figures for a licence plate these days, it's just a licence plate that doesn't impact gameplay, it's more expensive than some old cars.

Aye, this can get a bit annoying. I think if you return your vehicle within a few seconds, and don't move with it, you should be able to call another.

 

Another thing I'd add is an even better filter for the car shop websites. I know that implementing a full-on search engine probably needs fundamental changes to the website scripts, but it would be nice if we could filter everything at least by update.

This works but it's not very consistent. The left/right on the d-pad is determined on how many players are currently in the session. if they made it consitent with "2x left = Mechanic, 3x right = Lester" then it would be amazing.
