Wow, an excellent week for special clothing! Amazed they made the squatch outfit merely a login reward, good on them for that. It’s easily one of the best looking costumes in the game. Looks like my speculation about the Weevil Custom turned out to be on point, it actually fits in with the OG Halloween cars/Bike pretty well aesthetically.

Matchmaking was always **** whenever I tried to host something, I never got any joins unless I did manual inite of freinds so this is always been a thing rather than on your end from my experience!

The better question is why did they once again make a nice variety of colour schemes for a new badass digital oni looking mask... but are not simply releasing it come the obvious Halloween time? Is this gonna be a repeat of the Halloween Chute bag, where something obviously seasonal gets added in the run-up to said season... but we're gonna have to wait until said season next year?

Try to host from public. Matchmaking has been broken no matter it's PS5 or PS4 for months. Only players in same session than yours, your friends, players from previous same job will receive an invite on their phone. And/or just hope someone selects quick join on phone

matchmaking on E&E is just broken, has been a issue for a long time now.

its annoying

 

atleast on PS4 before E&E i didn't had any big matchmaking issues, but ever since E&E released matchmaking is broken

I play both on PS5 and on PS4. No matter the generation, match making is broken. Indeed since March. but it's not exclusive to E&E

I can't tell which one it actually is, but it feels like a floaty cloud. The fact it is capable of doing 130-140MPH-ish and actually outrunning the ASP on track is hard to believe when you drive it because it has no sense of speed or road feel like at all.

The Growler isn't much better, similar issues but with a 1st gear out of a race prepared Mustang Boss 302 from 1970, as 1st gear goes up to like 80mph lmao. It has like about the single tallest gear ratio on 1st gear the only car that comes close is the Swinger.

Speaking of the ASP, that thing is fast enough to be classed as a "Sports" car. In fact I'd even suggest it could be yeeted into the Supers class and still hold it's own somewhat given it's about the only car I've ever done Downtown Underground with and can take turn one with the skinny pedal pinned the to floorpan and then take turn two with a mere lift to 80% throttle and then back to 100% in a tenth of a second. That thing has so much speed and grip that it's unsettlingly not far off feeling as fast as my S90RR around that track. The thing is insane, the main benefit to it however is most people still treat it like a "Muscle" car, so most other players are losing literal seconds, even double digit seconds per lap as they lift or worse hit the brakes on turns that the ASP can take without even breaking a sweat.

Tailgater S is.....eh.....it's a car, I like it as a car but as a racer it's a bit of a meme.

Last minute edit: I did drive my Group 4 Rally build S2 in the Cayo Series and honestly....it's actually one of the better cars for that series. It's no Issi Sport (Go ahead and laugh, then go try a shock let alone build Issi Sport there. Absolute Weapon that thing is) but it was actually holding it's own against cars I felt should have been faster, now how much of that is the S2 being a good rally car and how much is just me being a Rally Driver and thus knowing how to drive at Cayo is up in the air but still.

it's got pretty normal gears

 

the s2 has a spoiler that does nothing and coupled with terrible suspension, you end up with a eah mess

I drove the calico, asp, and previon on cayo

 

I liked the previon the best there with they floatly suspension

I mean, I did also manage to wrangle a better lap time out of a slamvan custom than a buffalo STX on cayo

It’s definitely gotten worse in the past year or so, especially for 9th gen consoles.

Just look them up yourself on Social Club. Street and Pursuit races have their own categories.

Nope. Still the same.

 

Also, the bug existed for a long time. It just became more apparent with Rockstar allowing us to sell in invite-only lobbies.
