payphone hit, headhunter, sell mixed goods, another headhunter, auto shop deliveries or night club promotion and then more pay phone hits. I call it lazy grinding because I’m not really rushing and just goofing around in between.

buy the kosatka….pays for itself quick and it’s pretty darn cool just to own a big submarine like that

Adding on to this. I would say the Auto Shop makes a good second purchase and an Agency makes a good third purchase. Both properties require no additional upgrades to be effective. I still stand by purchasing the Kosatka first. But the reason why the Auto Shop is second because it's much cheaper than the Agency and you can run Auto Shop contracts back to back meaning no cooldown. Therefore, the Auto Shop will give you quicker access to a steady form of income while you wait out the lengthy Cayo Perico cooldown.

The yellow trucks are good too, just sell for a little less. If OP does this, I'd recommend checking out a guide for the best spawn strategies.

Can you give me more detail, i cannot find anything about "yellow trucks" - do you just mean, the Sandking in yellow or do you mean a different type of car?

Gambling in the casino can be an easy stress free money maker... If you don't find gambling in general to be stressful. I made a ton by betting on the race horses. There is a method to the betting that actually puts the odds in your favor.

I tried Roulette and Black Jack, on both I won and lost much money :D
I will google the race horse thing, thanks!

The last two days, I tried the slasher, got my first 50k from the club tresor and drove two drunken VIPs home - thank you all for your suggestions, I understand my way through gtaonline much better now! :)

Yeah, here, have an ancient video (10am to 4pm ingame iirc);

Either store them nearby in a 6 car garage or just do what I did and put a tracker on them in the garage there for a 2k hit. You should get 10 easily which is 150-170k over time.

Hello everyone,

I started a new game to play it on some days in the half hour before I go to sleep (have not much time at the moment and I find it relaxing to cruise around in Los Santos).

Finding the action figures, robbing stores or stealing cars from Simeons list are the things, I do then.

But this way, I don't get much money (apart from the 100.000 dollar from Amazon prime and the money, I get from the lucky wheel from time to time) to buy me one of these newer cars.

Can you suggest me some ways to get money which meet the following criteria:
- a mission / task is not longer than around 10 minutes
- I don't need any special / expensive weapons/houses/cars for it
- it isn't challenging at all / nearly impossible to loose (as said: I want to relax)

Is there anything which comes to your mind?
Thanks a alot :)

Oh also there's a blurple Sentinel option in the city;

Bonus here is you're in a mission (Titan of a Job) so the clock is locked and you're earning while you farm.

Yes. I meant the yellow Sandkings. Sorry I wasn't clear.

The following is a copy/paste from when I previously talked about my betting.

I did a little research and found some guides about horse racing. I'd recommend doing that. I'll probably explain poorly. In essence, the tactic was this. Most of the time the odds are better than they claim. Always bet max on best odds when that happens. When the odds are worse than they claim, or the top two have the same odds, bet minimum. I was able to earn $12m in chips to fill my casino safe with this strategy. Took a long time because I was only winning $100k-$200k an hour.

What does worse than stated odds mean? A horse with Evens odds has a 50% chance to win. Two of those horses are already at 100% chance to win. The odds for the other 4 horses need to squeeze in there too. Meaning, it's not a true 50% chance for the evens horse to win. When top two horses were both evens or one evens and the other 2:1, I would bet minimum because the odds are worse than stated.

What does better than stated odds mean? Convert the odds to percentage and add them up. It usually is under 100%. Since one of those 6 horses will win, the odds must add up to 100%. This means that the odds are slightly better than stated. Which means the horse will win slightly more often than expected, which should be a net profit to the better over the long term.

I bet minimum when the top two have the same odd, because I'd stress over trying to figure out if there was some method to decide which would win if two had the same odds. I bet minimum because I would rather just not care who wins that race.

In short, this was my betting strategy:

  • Always bet for the horse with the best odds.
  • Bet minimum if the top two were both Evens or one Evens and the other was 2:1.
  • Bet minimum when the top two have the same odds.
  • Bet maximum on all other races.

Sightseer CAN be ridiculously easy and relaxing.  Find the helicopter spawn location at the top of the medical center in the NE side of the city just SW of the two main highways intersection (there is a ladder to go up).  Steal it just before launching sightseer.  i thinkk you need to be level 12 for it to spawn.

Flight school is also good and not "too hard" if you have a controller.   Very frustrating with mouse and keyboard.

Between the treasure hunts, flight school and sightseer you will make the 1 mil for the Maze Bank CEO office in no time.  After that you get a good set of free vehicles.

As CEO you get special vehicle delivery jobs from your secretary.   And 250k after that gets you your first warehouse.   Warehouse sourcing is mostly easy and relaxing, although there is the occasional frustration.  Deliver once you have 9 crates and it becomes very easy.

EDIT:. I almost forgot.   The easiest and most profitable way to relax is to join a "grinding" focused large crew (500-1000 members) that plays in their own session with no outsiders and has rules against attacking crew members.  Then you can just join them as an associate when they do their business runs.  It is very varied,  relaxing, and can be quite profitable.

If I were starting from scratch and in your position, I would (watch a couple youtubes and then) quick join Cayo Perico Heists, just follow your hosts and grab gold only, that's 250-450k per run (more if your host is an epic legend like me) and 15 minutes or less usually.

And once you've done around 20 you can get your own Kosatka and then it's just money money money

If you join one where the host has no clue, leave.

Good luck finding a host that won't kick you for being a low level player though lol. I don't know if it's changed after the nerf but trying to quick join heists used to be a huge waste of time even as a high level player. And then like 90% of the time you get stuck in the clouds after being kicked which is an even bigger time waster.

If you find a ***good*** crew to join they will not only not kick you but even teach you how to do it right.   My first two Cayos were at somewhere around level 20-30 and I am now going through my first solo prep with what they taught me.  So far I found the solo challenging but quite doable.

So my suggestion is to not try any public heists early and if you do it with your crew make sure they are aware that you are a beginner.

When I first started with my current character, my first major but affordable purchase was an armored Karuma. This is gold if you're playing in a solo or invite only lobby for many reasons. Then I used to do a head hunter to make $25,000 and made a rule for myself to use that 25k and go to the casino and gamble on horses. I got to know the horses and the ones who are most likely to win most of the time and made my first 13 million before buying any expensive property including the Kosatka. I bet 5k at a time below 50k and 10k at 50 and up so at least when I get 50k, I choose to either go to the cashier or continue betting 10k per race. If you bet 5k on a horse that's 5-1 for example, you get 25k in 1 minute. If you bet 10k 5-1, that's 50k in one minute. Occasionally you take a chance and bet 10k on a horse 30-1 and get 300k in one minute etc. But a lot of times, I bet safely with the "Evens" or 2-1, 3-1, 4-1 and the profits add up quickly especially if you get on a streak. Either I flipped that 25k into 100k+ or lose the whole thing. I would go to the cashier every time I reached 50 or 100k to secure the profit. One night I made over 1 million within 2 hours. If I lost the 25k, I would simply go back out and do another head hunter to re-up and start over. But another rule I have is to never gamble with money saved. Always do a job for seed money and buy chips with that only.

I actually bought my Casino Penthouse doing this and it wasn't that long. Just giving another option for pure casual way to make money when you don't have the big money properties yet and the job grind is too slow. I chose to make money grinding on betting to make possible hundreds of thousands a minute instead of grinding jobs taking 10 minutes at a time just to make 10k. BTW, IMO it's no rush to get the basement businesses going if you're just starting out. I find even if you have the businesses going, filling up with goods take a long time compared to if you just keep up your nightclub popularity. That's 50k every game day. I made millions way before setting up the businesses and the 50k a day will out pace the basement stuff. Just go in there every 2 game days and do one of the quick bouncer jobs. Just my 2 cents.

Sightseer gives you $45.000 atm (if you are finishing the mission  with less than 5 minutes of  the timer).

I still can't believe R* nerfed Sightseer with the latest update.

They used to pay 25k normal + 50k on weeks like this.

Seriously, why knock off 2,500 ??? (22,500 now for basic weeks, if you wait til under 5 minutes)

They didn’t nerf the payout. They only doubled the base 20k the remaining is time bonus. The doubling is the issue not the base payout changing.

Well, due to the "10 minute cooldown", Sightseer is an very easy and fun way, without action, maybe with some timepressure to farm a lot of money.
Especially with an fast motorcycle!

Next step from R* would be to set the cooldown timer for Sightseer to maybe 48 miunutes...🤨

Can you give me details on what the tracker exactly does? I understand, that when I have one Sandking and give it a tracker, I can spawn another one and I don't lose the first one, when I get into the second one. So I can sell both. But what happens, when I have two with a tracker? Will one of them land automatically in a garage or how does it work? I can only have one personal car on the map at the same time, right?

Adding a tracker to any vehicle stores it in the first free garage slot you have yeah, so it's a $2k tradeoff (cost of tracker) with just driving to a garage. There's a 6-car not too far from the spawn, but for that video I was using trackers to show it's a guaranteed little loop if you do it right.

The tracker is what the game uses to indicate a vehicle is a personal vehicle.

So generally speaking, for cars who drive in normal traffic, there is no need to buy them from the online car shops, because I only need to steal them and give them a tracker to own them?

Yes, and if you just drive them into your garage you get the tracker for free. Also make sure to buy "Full Coverage" insurance too for cars you plan to keep or else if the car gets destroyed you will lose it forever.

Any car worth $95,000 or less you can steal off the street and keep. There is a different price amount for motorcycles. Just don't forget to buy insurance.

* BASE price.

You can find pre-modifed NPC cars in certain locations at certain times of day that have more value due to the mods but can still be kept or sold.

The Blue Sentinel and its yellow compatriot that spawn Taquila La between 2200 and 0400 nightly ($14000 - $17000). The baby blue Sandking and its yellow brother that spawn neat Beekers Garage between 1000 and 1800 daily (similar price ranges), etc.
