Clearing cache on PS5

Anyone know how to do it since GTA released on PS5?  Used to do it by pressing L1 and R1 I’m succession while game is loading.  Now it loads too quickly or they removed the option to clear the cache this way.  Any help would be appreciated.

Good question really...

The Rockstar Support pages don't come up with anything meaningful and they don't even have filters yet for these newer console platforms.
Looks like the team could do with getting some pages updated...

Enter the Safe Mode on your PS5 and select the option #5, then choose "Clear System Software Cache".

The reason I wanted to do this was to reset my GTA settings.  This sounds like it will reset all settings for everything PS5 related, but that this might be the only options.  Maybe I was wrong, maybe before I wasn't just resetting GTA settings but the PS5 and they just changed how you can do it.  But as the top poster offered, I tried to Google this before posting it, and there is precious little on the inter webs.

I'm going to let you be the guinea pig on this, because I've been advised to clear my PS5 cache too.

Let me know if it all goes horribly wrong.

I haven’t wanted to risk it either, but if I do, I will report it

Ok, I have read somewhere that if you:

- Start the game,

- Wait a bit,

- Get to the screen saying something like press the X button to continue,

- Don't press the X button right away,

- Hold L1 and R1 instead,

- And after press the X button while still holding L1 and R1.

Then you should have now cleared the cache of GTAV on PS5 and you should get the brightness calibration screen right after that.

I haven't tried this yet, but it might be worth a shot.

I could not get this to work. Me and a buddy tried this a bunch of times and no go.  Thanks for the response though.
