Radio stations drop my FPS

How come when the radio is playin my fps goes to 30, while when the radio is off I have unlimited FPS?

Even when Im switching stations the fps is fine and as soon as it connects to one its immediately drops.

Im sure there is a fix for this I just have no clue what to do. Havent had that problem until I installed DYOM. Could that be the problem?
