ONLINE: Simeon export list at port disappeared.

I am very early in the game and a day or two ago (IRL) Simeon sent me an export list.  I delivered the first car and went to do other stuff.  Today I try to continue with the list and I notice that both the message and the map marker at the port disappeared.  I read that you can only export one car every 24 hours, but it has already been more than that IRL and many many times that in game.

Does anybody have a clue about what is happening and how to fix it?

You only get to deliver one car from that list.

You get a new list after 24 IRL hours.

Yeah the vehicle list from Simeon changes frequently; every 24 hours is probably right.
You have to wait in a GTA Online session long enough to receive a text from Simeon giving you the list of vehicles. Alternatively, if you steal a car off the street and get a 2 star wanted level, the chances are you're in one of his requested vehicles, so high tail it over to a Pay n Spray (LS Customs) and get the vehicle resprayed ready for delivery.
The map blip only appears when you're in a vehicle that he wants that's been resprayed and ready for delivery.

I will be honest though... despite Rockstar buffing those vehicle payouts a little while ago, they're still not really enough for it to be financially viable. Without telling you how to play the game, if you're over rank 42 (?), Buzzard Attack Choppers should spawn at some helipads randomly (RNG with other helicopter types, although at the Merryweather Base, it's either the Buzzard or the Cargobob) or alternatively take a trip to Fort Zancudo and steal a P996 Lazer fighter jet, and then head into the Interaction Menu and sign on as a VIP or CEO and do VIP Work - Headhunter. Experienced players can get that done in 2 minutes, but under 5 minutes is usually easily managed and will currently net you $40,000+ for those that time, and can be repeated every 15 minutes (?).

Best money maker in free roam imo is Franklin payphone hits if you have the agency. $85k every 20 minutes.

Right, and I'm not disputing that, but an Agency (the Paywall required for Payphone Hits) isn't really something for a "very early in the game" player, whereas to become a VIP and unlock VIP Work, which are currently 2x money, only requires you to have $50,000 on you.

What I'm talking about is NOT the limitation of one car per day, it is the buggy behavior where even though 24 hours have passed unless you get a lucky session the list disappears.

I think the chance of a bug increase depending on how few players they expect in the session.  For example, today I saw the list pop up in a Friends only session but I was busy doing other stuff.  Later in the day - without having done the car - all of the Solo sessions I entered had no car list.  But... a couple days ago I did get the one and only car list I was able to deliver in... in a Solo session.

In other words... it is buggy as hell, and it seems to be intentional and in response to server loads.

The same thing happens with SecuroServ, I have NEVER - not even once - seen it show in a Solo session, but I did see it in Friends only sessions.

You get one list per session. You change sessions - the list might or might not be different. The timer for message will reset, so more waiting. Other players might or might not have a different list. Every time you have to wait quite a bit for the message to come, but as others have pointed out you can do it without knowing what the list is, as jacking a car that gives you two stars means it's a Simeon vehicle from your list. Because the cars repeat between lists you can sometimes blindly enter high-end cars to see if they are on your list that is yet to come to your inbox. Only one car can be delivered per 24h IRL, so try to get sport or super cars for that max 20k payout.

Also, don't use solo sessions, they are useless. Invite Only serves practically the same purpose but doesn't lock you out of most of the game's content.

This! The Solo Session lacks a lot of the content by design. So simply make an Invite Only Session and don't invite somebody and you have a solo session with most if not all content the game offers.

This seems to be it.  (even though the first time I saw a car list for Simeon it was in a Solo session... go figure)

Still, it is very puzzling.  Why even add Solo sessions if they are useless and one can simply do Invite Only sessions for the same thing?

It's not always about making money. I have well over $200 million and I still deliver Simeon cars when I run into them simply for a change of pace. I also like the challenge of trying to get them to the drop-off at top speed while taking as little damage as possible.

Side note, has anyone else noticed how intersection cross traffic now pulls in front of you and just STOPS for no reason other than to F*CK YOU while you're traveling at high speed through town? I swear it never happened this frequently for me before the last update.

It has nothing to do with the amount of people in the session. Once you have been in the same session for 10 - 15 minutes you will get the list. If you leave the session the list will disappear along with any other text messages and e mails you got in that session. You should get the list again after 10 to 15 minutes in a new session but I'm not too sure because I ignore those messages and don't deliver the cars often. Once you have delivered the car the list will disappear and you won't get another one for 24 irl hours. You don't need the list to deliver the cars. I change sessions constantly to aviod driving or flying to my other properties so I don't have the list often but I still deliver a car sometimes if I am stealing cars a lot and don't want the 2 star wanted level from Simeon cars. There are 8 different lists you can get and it will be one of these

If you don't have a list just try stealing some of these cars and once you get a 2 star wanted level just go to LSC and get it resprayed and after that deliver it to the docks.

You can see the prices for cars here just stick to the ones paying 20k to get the most money. https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Simeon's_Export_Requests

I understant that is how it is **supposed** to work.

But for me it isn't.  I got the list and delivered a car once, in a Solo session.  After that days went by and I got no new list.  Yesterday I got the list in a Friends Only session, but I was busy and didn't grab/deliver the car, so "in theory" I should still get the list after 15 min of joining a session.  But I played for hours in both Solo and Invite Only sessions... and the list never arrived again.  I even grabbed cars from the list I'd seen while in the previous session that should have been still active for a day and I didn't get the 2-star rating.

The list and S marker at the dock is definitely **NOT** arriving after 24 hours of last delivery AND 15 minutes in a session.

Unless there are some other (new?) factors involved, then this is truly and thoroughly bugged and wildly random when it works and when it doesn't.

I haven't had issues. Usually what I do when I first load in to GTA is going to the casino and spin the wheel, check my business stock at the master control terminel in my arcade, sometimes do a payphone hit or I just mess around for a bit. I have always had it around 15 minutes from when I first loaded in to the session. I play on 3 different accounts and all of them I usually stay in my first session for at least 20 minutes messing around before I start properly playing and I get the list all the time. When I start changing sessions I usually don't get the list because I usually just do one thing like a bunker sell mission or selling an autoshop customer car before I change my spawn location to a different property and find a new session.

The marker at the docks only shows up after you have stolen and resprayed a car Simeon wants and will only stay on the map while you are in that car. If you exit the car the marker will disappear until you get back in the car. It never shows up unless you are in the correct resprayed car without a wanted level. I am 100% positive that if you don't have a list but steal a car he wants that day you will get a 2 star wanted level and you can take that car to the LSC and when it is resprayed you will get the marker at the docks to respray it.

It might have something to do with what you are currently doing in game. According to the wiki if another player is doing a VIP job you won't be able to deliver the car until it finishes. Maybe if you are always involved in some sort of activity like VIP work, heist preps, business stuff etc it doesn't give the game time to send the list. Try loading in to a session and just drive around for 10 to 15 minutes without starting any jobs and see if you get the list then.

Personally I don't think the list is needed and most of the time I do deliver a car I don't use the list anyway. If I do deliver a car I just go down to the LSC at Burton and grab one of the ones that pay 20k from his list on the wiki and if I don't get the 2 star wanted level I do something else and then after that I'll just steal onther one worth 20k until I get the right one and deliver that. Even if you do get one worth 20k I don't think it is worth the time hunting around for a car from his list. If you see one driving around then it isn't too bad to grab it or just stealing ones from his list and if it is wrong then just drive that to whatever you are doing next.

Good place to steal cars that are potentially requested by Simeon is casino parking lot. It almost always has one and no need to wait for a list to be sent.

I use the LifeInvader building and the Golf Course. LiveInvader has a little row of angled parked spaces and the second one near the front of the building spawns a Simeon car. At the Golf Course one spawns in the big parking lot, near the farthest (northern) parking space from the entrance.

Also the high end cars tend to pop up in traffic around there too.

The text is/has been broken for a while now, i usually get it after I’ve delivered a car to the docks.  As said above use that list and once you get a 2* wanted level get that car re sprayed and take it to the docks.
