I'm sorry if there was already another topic for this, I'm pretty sure I stumbled upon something similar yeeears ago. But, I just wanna discuss people's most anticipated titles, regardless of the platform. Put it any way you want, but I have a handful of games I'm waiting for, some are just hypothetical, some are just remakes/remasters of favorite games.

Hogwarts Legacy: I'm a huge harry potter nerd and the thought of having a "proper" HP game has me chuffed. Even if it is average, I might still end up putting hundreds of hours into it.

 

F1 Manager 22: As someone who has gotten into F1 lately, this game has come at a great time. I'm also not that good at the codies F1 games so having a football manager style F1 game is exactly what I need.

 

S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: I am absolutely fascinated by everything related to Chernobyl. I've never really played Stalker before (I tried the older games but the mechanics felt a bit off) but I'm really excited for this one due to the setting and the atmosphere. It's a shame what happened to the studio due to the war in Ukraine but it is good to see them back on their feet.

 

Starfield: I absolutely love everything space related and this game seems like another one of those games wherein, even if it is average, I'd still end up putting many hours into it because of it's theme/setting.

 

Max Payne 1 and 2 remakes: I remember really liking Max Payne 2 as a kid so I'm really excited to see how the remakes hold up on modern engines. Here's hoping it isn't a GTA: DE redux.

 

TLOU remake: Despite some disappointments, my love for the original means I'd still pick this up at some point, for a reduced price of course.

 

Wolverine/Spider-Man 2: Loved the spider man games so I'm very interested to see what Insominac can bring to the table here.

 

Fallout 5: Because I like fallout.

 

GTA VI: Well, duh.

TBH, Starfield looks okay to me. Might pick it up sometime in place of No Man's Sky. At first, I was like meh. But, I feel like looking it up more since I've been a fan of No Man's Sky without even touching it before it even released, and Starfield looks like a better, more integrated version.

 

Also, I would have mentioned MWII, but it might end up burning a hole through my pocket and my daily schedule. If it wasn't that sweaty, I might pick it up sometime after release.

 

I'm also looking forward to a supposed MW3 Remastered. I was a huge fan of the classic trilogy and I've been anticipating the remakes since MWR was revealed back in 2016.

 

Might pick up Hogwarts Legacy if they showed more gameplay.

Atm i only really "wait" for  Forza Motorsport Reboot (Forza Horizon just isn't my thing), Starfield, The Last of Us (PC Version), Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, Elder Scrolls VI, GTA VI and in many years Fallout 5.

 

And i hope the Max Payne 1+2 remakes by Remedy are well made, i only played MP1 a bit at a friends computer when i was a kid, and watched a friend play some MP2 on the Original X-Box. I want to enjoy these games in 4K with HDR and nice frame rate, at least once each.

 

Very wishful thinking, i would love to see a Dino Crisis Reboot with top notch graphics, and i hope the next Perfect Dark is not such garbage like the previous one. The original one on N64 was like one of the best games back then.

Pretty much only Hogwarts Legacy, as far as very likely day one purchases go. But I rarely ever buy games at the release (or shortly after) anyway.

I suppose I could list more, but it would all be speculation/unannounced titles.

Oh, yeah. Almost forgot about MP 1 and 2. I remember copying these games to my flash drive from the internet cafe. I wasn't able to finish MP1 due to the nauseating controls by then.

GTA 5 on PS3, PS4, and PS5 are the only games I pre-ordered. I'm usually too broke to buy games at full price, with the exception of Horizon: FW and MW2019. XD

Miles Morales (PC): Still haven't finished the first game but I'm enjoying most of it quite a bit so far.

 

Hogwarts Legacy: Not sure it's even going to end up being the style of game I enjoy but I think just being able to wander around a digital Hogwarts will be its own kind of fun. Just wish there was Quidditch.

 

Alan Wake 2: This one still feels a bit too far away to really be excited about but the first is one of my favorite games ever so, yeah, I'm excited for more.

 

Gotham Knights: This one has turned into more of a morbid curiosity, for me. It was number one on my anticipated list a couple years ago but the more I see of it the less excited I get. Announcing the xb1/ps4 version had been cancelled while at the same time presenting a visual downgrade kind of killed it for me. It's got some of my favorite character in comics, though, so I'll give it a try one day, I guess.
