Make the autoshop better

Late to the party here but what's this about a corona bug with motorcycle deliveries?

Haven't had any problems with these runs yet, except that a single time so far I've had to deliver a mod Faggio. Meh.

I had it happen once to me when I was delivering a bike, I drove the thing to the Corona and then nothing happened. Tried a bunch of different things but the Corona still wouldn't trigger the delivery.

This is a old and known bug from Autoshop car deliveries(when you decide to deliver the cars yourself), to my surprise it carried over to motorbike deliveries too.

I ended up blowing up the bike out of frustration, I'll mess with this sh*t again once they get around patching this out of the game.

I know about cars that are "too hot to sell". When I tried it before, I couldn't sell at my shop, but I went to LSC and it sold just fine.

Forgive me, I meant insuring not selling, you can't sell cars in your autoshop

The Auto Shop should have two garage doors. One for driving into the mod shop and one for the garage. Or a way to drive into the mod shop without putting the car into the garage.

Agreed, or at least give us options like the casino garage gives us. When you drive up to the garage door you choose mod shop or garage. I would like to stop using LSC but its just so convenient.

I agree. It's annoying that the vehicle is reassigned to the autoshop for storage when all you want to do is a respray or fix up.

The only thing that irks me about the Autoshop sales is that the payout is a bit misleading. Once you finish you maybe see +60000 but in fact you're doing at best 30K. They just refund the expenses and add the sale on top to give you the illusion of there being a massive profit.

I know the game does that very often. Cargo stuff in fact is worse since you buy them (to steal for some reason ) first and then only later in the sale you can have an idea of how much you actually made (by doing some calculations which aren't straightforward).

What autoshop needs is different staff. Keep the old pair as an option, say, "Delivery drivers" and add "Mechanics", similar to the Nightclub dancers selection. These mechanics would automate the chore of modifying customer cars to spec by adding an option in its menu (who even likes doing that), and unlock access to Benny's and Bunker mods like the Arena mechanics. Maybe they could even do some harmless mods like F1 merge and such without jumping through hoops.

First thing they need to do with that place is actually make our mechanics learn how to f*cking drive, they said they made them better now but how much? I have yet to see them delivering a car without damages.

That would be a huge coding challenge I think. Even when I deliver them, I'm super paranoid about the NPC AI drivers that are intentionally coded to time themselves into you. If the staff are coded somehow to deliver the cars, it would take a very long time if they follow the AI traffic rules and it would still be a challenge to not get hit. Ever took a limo trip? Make them hurry and you will catch a breeze with no windows in no time. Let them just drive, you will sit in there so long you should have a movie screen to watch.

You know they don't actually deliver the cars, right? As in, they don't actually get the cars out of the shop and physically drive on the streets with the car until they reach the destination? The mechanics and the cars just despawns from the shop and then we get paid later, I was just keeping my comment lore friendly to take a snide at how stupid it is that R* made those mechanics "drive" so awfully.

It's just that R* deliberately choose to not let us receive the full payouts for the cars if we decide to outsource them on the AI, but I kind wish it wasn't so on-the-nose they will never get us decent payouts unless we somehow manage to figure out what changes we need to do to the customer cars that makes us earn the satisfaction bonus.

I think it's fair that the easy button doesn't give full payout, but it should've been a set amount that we pay the driver to deliver not damages.

I didn't now that. Never hired them and never will. And if this is true, definitely never will.

How bout use the autoshop for doing new missions that will unlock new parts for older vehicles. Like in the current update where older cars got some new liveries and mod options. You might aswel give those as a reward for some missions that could be started in the autoshop. Do some missions to actually unlock something usefull instead of just giving money and useless RP. Like missions where you have to find some mod parts at the airport that just came in from japan, steal a car with *unique mods on it to strip it down for those unique parts, a barn find with *unique parts etc. GTAV has so much more potential mission wise then what they're doing with it now. The devs just making bland mindless missions at this point they lack creativity if you ask me. It's not that hard to come up with some nice and interesting ideas.

I think they should probably buff the payouts for the car deliveries, now that they added the bikes deliveries too. Those only cost 10k and you get 50k for it every time, whereas the cars cost like 20k and you only get 30k or something out of it

Lowest car I ever got was 40k.   And many of them sell for 60-80k.

Next time try selling more then 1 car before judging the DLC.

But you do know that the cost goes up too, to prepare the cars right? Just because you get 60-80K doesn't mean you really get 60-80, you should pay some attention if delivering these cars. :D

Yeah as Mexicola said, you spend like 50k on modding the car, but then you get that money back when you deliver it. The actual pay is 20 or 30k
