Rocketpants Posted July 31 Share Posted July 31 I installed the Luke Ross GTA 5 VR mod recently and have been having fun with it. However, I've found that the right stick (I use the Xbox Elite 2 controller) stops working the first time I get out of a vehicle. This makes turning on foot very difficult (for example, turning 180 degrees so I can run away from the police!), as the only way I can turn is using the headset. There doesn't appear to be a fix for this in-game -- I have to restart the game. Has anyone had this issue when using a gamepad and were you able to find a fix that prevents this from happening? I can't even find a post online anywhere about this, and while the mod is fun, not being able to turn properly will stop me from playing it, sadly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Rocketpants Posted August 2 Author Share Posted August 2 Has anyone experieced this issue at least within the last few weeks? I've come across two other people who have. I'm trying to figure out if a recent game update has broken the mod. Most YT videos on this mod were recorded at least 6 months ago, and I'm assuming that something has changed since then as they don't appear to have this problem. For anyone who does come here looking for a solution, there doesn't appear to be one. The mod author isn't supporting the mod anymore and he's also been struck with a DMCA warning so it's unlikely we'll find a solution anytime soon, or ever. Ubernoodles Posted August 14 Share Posted August 14 I have the same problem, I've tried everything I can to no avail. Best I've found is changing to third person view before exiting the vehicles. This prevents the camera from locking when you transition back to first person. Well, for me at least. I noticed that if you change to third person when leaving a car, then get on a motorbike, you don't need to change to third person when you exit the bike like you do with a car.
