mcnut Posted July 29 Share Posted July 29 so I recently found out you could get GTA 5 through disk drives I was wondering how long it could take to install the entire thing with the disk I cant download it through steam because that would take a year considering my 200kb speed internet so any answers? But if it's an optical drive then just divide the filesize (it's almot 100GB) by your drives' read speed. plus/minus some lag. I assume your hdd isn't slower than your optical drive Alternatively, why not just stop by a friends place or anywhere with free fast wifi and download it there? should only take 2-3-4 hours and voila, you're done. Also, I didn't know it was possible to install it easily on non-pc using just disks, but regardless, the newer version 'demand' online access for various reasons, your 200kbps might be too slow for anything at all.
