I dozed off waiting at someone's random heist lobby waiting for players, then woke up to my 111 crate warehouse reduced to 83 crates.

Just fought off "silent" raid number 4 and now it's down to 73 crates. I joined a rando's heist setup then come back to freeroam to this treat:  https://streamable.com/apq8jd

Thanks Pedinhuh I'll keep it at this threshold now until of course the next double money event lol.

So you weren't ceo and it still happened, if that's the case i'm not sure if it's even worth sending staff to source crates after 77 which was the max you could have to avoid getting raided.

My warehouse got raided 3 times in two days. First time it was because I was AFK towards the end of a heist setup because there was nothing to do and I was just waiting for the other player to drive to the objective. I return 3 minutes back and my assistant tells my half my stock's gone. Second time, I was present and fought them off. Third time I dozed off waiting at someone's random heist lobby waiting for players, then woke up to my 111 crate warehouse reduced to 83 crates. I haven't played since lol. It seems like the warehouse raid frequency has gone up. I've made over 300 mil with crates and I had all 5 fully stocked before for double money week and I never had a single raid.

Were you still registered as CEO all that time? Or can you now get raided without being CEO?

So far, every time I got something raided, I was CEO or MC. When you join heists or spend any time afk, you should retire/disband first for safety.

Edit: sorry, I quoted you from last page and just read your second post and you weren't CEO, I didn't say anything. But this sucks, you used to be safe outside of your organization.

You could always get raided even if you didn't had registered as a CEO, it's all about passing the 70% threshold.

And not being registered as a CEO increases your chances of being "ghost raided" which is what happened on that video, you get absolutely no warning whatsoever and can easily lose all of your cargo.

I do not know if this is intended game design or a bug, but it's annoying nonetheless and makes the crates not worth the effort if you're letting them sit on your warehouse f

Above 70% of capacity.

The only one business involving stock that does not get raided at all, that I know of, is the Hangar Air Freight...That one is worth doing to fill up your hangar and then let the product sit there until a 2x or 3x event comes up...If you can stomach the sheer monotony of it(sourcing missions are fun, but gets repetitive quick).

Never got raided, but then i've never kept stock inside warehouse until this update and an option to send staff to source, i would always just take advantage of 2x by grinding that week and sell immediately. But there is always a way by just switching session when raid happens(AFAIK you don't loose anything then or just 3 crates), the only problem now is it's ghost raid so it might be better to be registered as ceo as that at least gives us warning that we are being raided, but also probably increase chance for raid to happen. One of my La Mesa warehouse is currently almost full waiting for 2x week while the other one in the same street is filled gradually until that crate week happens, however i don't know if its maybe better to just keep them both on 77 crates each and leave it at that until 2x bonus is active.

I tend to only use CEO..,

guess I'll try that switch session trick to see if the stock drops..,

by this time R* needs to add a notoriety system to fight of raids or threats like we all wanted since Inception for all businesses..,

literally none of the gangs or npcs are worth sh*t even since the start, since we always where the go to for things than can't get done.

Man, I’ve said it like three times since the update, but air cargo would have been the perfect activity to double the payout and add some fresh source missions for.

I'm doing air cargo now because I decided I wanted a full warehouse just for the props. I'd only filled one warehouse before because it's just not worth it for anything other than the trade prices. It's reminding me how much I love and hate those missions. The air combat is cool and I appreciate they give you vehicles to use so you can test them out and not need to own aircraft. However, many of the missions are just so boring. Stuff like follow a titan for 10 minutes or fly around and blow up stationary targets. And they all end with you needing to go somewhere else far away on the map to destroy a vehicle to fly the cargo then sprint back to the hangar while being followed by endless waves. The endless waves are manageable while in the air, but if you crash and respawn on the ground you're f*cked while they bombard you with pinpoint accuracy. It's also annoying that the Pegasus Hydra is the best vehicle to use because it's cheap to spawn, fast, and can hover to land. Personal aircraft are cool, but because they count as a personal vehicle and spawn far away I never use them.

But yeah, a couple new missions would be cool. Really, they should be adding a couple new missions to old content with every DLC. Something that ties old content to the new content. When the casino heist and car meet came out there should've been crate missions added for those locations. A weed sale should've been added with a drop-off at Larmar's weed shop when the Agency DLC was added.

Glad I'm not the only one getting raided with no notification until it fails. I just quit game when I saw it and didn't notice any stock missing from anywhere.

What the hell have they done w raids in this update? I thought you had to be idle 5hrs? I had just done a mixed goods, a cargo sale and some racing w other players within the previous half hour and wasn't a CEO/president. If that won't stop the raids, what will?

CEO warehouses gets raided after they are 70% full, so for large warehouses of 111 crates it's 77 crates, for medium warehouses of 42 crates its 29 crates and finally, for small warehouses of 16 crates it's 11 crates.

So if you just be aware and remember of this threshold and keep your warehouses under them, you're safe and sound from raids.

Once you get past that threshold, there is a timer that trigger the raids that starts when you're on freeroam and not involved in any activities, but I can't remember much about it as it's been too long since I looked it up.

The wiki says it's 5 real-time hours. So, it'd be a good idea to sell odd crates to keep from reaching the threshold.

So, the new warehouse "technicians" that can source 1 crate is worth it if you wanna save some time. You should be selling them on 2x events, anyway.

Also, I'm loving the fact that we can almost grind the ammunition and office side businesses back to back. It's easy money for bunker investment if you happen to run out of cash.

Get your personal aircraft out of the hanger first and park it nearby. Then go back into the hanger and start the mission and you can use your own plane.

Although using an OPMkII makes most of the missions trivial. The ones it doesn't I just cancel and start a new one.

PSA: Regarding Special Item Cargo Crates

As everybody knows, when you get a call from your assistant, you are eligible to get a Special Item Cargo, once you have one of each type, your assistant will no longer call offering them, and they will not appear anymore to buy as single crate option, I found this myself, as I currently own every Special Item.

Spoiler

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

As a lot of people know from Reddit and other sources, when using the new Warehouse assistants to source, you can get 1 to 3 normal Crates, and in addition you have a chance to get a special item, being possible to be sourced 4 crates at maximum given time.

Spoiler

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

What I discovered is, that the new system is independent from the old one, so you still can get Special Item Crates from the Warehouse assistant, even if you own all Special Items.

You also can get Special Cargo from the Casino wheel, but this will frozen your character and will not grant you any Cargo, at least on the PC.

So there is no hard cap on owned Special Items, this was also proven by the "Terrorbyte glitch", where you could get 3 Special items, from sourcing 3 crates when any Special item was available from the Terrorbyte interface.

Spoiler

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett

Sourcing only through the Warehouse technicians does not seem trigger Special Item Calls too, so the best strategy is to combine both for fast filling and more chances of droping special items.
