How do i play on pc ?

You can't.

I play on PC with an xbox controller. Forget about trying to drive or anything with a mouse.

You need an xbox controller and set it to auto aim (YOU HAVE TO DO THAT IN STORY MODE!).

I almost didn't play this game before I realized this.

This game really isn't designed for a mouse and keyboard. I haven't had any trouble playing any other pc game for the last 40 years.

This game on pc with a mouse/keyboard and xbox 360 controller is a great combo! I had to learn the xbox 360 controller.

Why, i play with mouse and keyboard all the time, do you have some arguments to back it up?

 

The only time i use a controller is to fly a plane or helicopter

Well you claim this game isnt really designed for keyboard and mouse so i would love to hear why.

Wasn't my post, but I think I see his point.

Sure, walking around and driving vehicles works fine on keyboard + mouse, but it's the little things that don't quite work as it should, like moving security cameras around.

Goes much better with controller than mouse, at least for me. (yes, my mouse has adjustable DPI, but it's still too slow even at maximum speed)

Or the dancing controls in the casino heist keycard prep with the croupier at the party. Works flawlessly when I'm using my controller, but I can't get my character to dance with keyboard and mouse.

The controls with a controller are just better, the only thing where you have a disadvantage is aiming, but auto aim helps with that.

 

With a keyboard you can't increase or decrease walking, driving or flying speed seamless, you can't just accelerate or brake a tiny bit if you want, no it's always 100% acceleration or 100% braking and that is just way too inaccurate.

 

I only use my keyboard to type in chat, make screenshots or videos or to use macros for idling reasons. For everything else i use a basic X-Box One Controller, with no rubber grip or additional buttons on the backside, nope just the regular controller. They have the longest lifetime, no rubber comes off, no additional buttons break, no it just lasts many many years, for a few thousand hours of actual game time.

 

I use Panasonic Eneloops the standard white ones, and charge them with the black Panasonic Eneloop charger, that is meant for the black better ones. But the black ones can't be charged so often so i rather use the white ones. Having 4 of these Eneloops and you can always switch the empty ones out in no time.

 

The only games i play with mouse and keyboard are PvP 1st person shooters like Battlefield, for everything else i use a controller. Every game i play with controller i play on my LG OLED 55 inch 120 HZ G-Sync 2160p HDR TV that is connected to my PC, i only play 1st person shooters on my PC monitor. It's just more relaxing to lean back and play on a couch or comfy chair, then having the hands on "WASD" and the mouse all the time. This goes into the hands and fingers after a while and it isn't good for the back. I can't lean back while playing at my PC monitor, because it's too small with it's 27 inches, maybe i buy a 32 inch one someday, but there is no rush. I still use the same old 144 HZ G-Sync monitor i bought in 2015, won't buy a new one before that one breaks.
