What's your headcanon about what happened to the 3D era characters after 2001?

Mine:

- Tommy Vercetti: alive and still in power, he has expanded his mafia empire in San Andreas and liberty city, he is making preparations for who his successor will be once he dies of natural causes. He also has 2 sons with Mercedes. In 2002 Tommy traveled to Liberty City and wiped out the remaining Forellis while seizing control of Marko's Bistro from the Leones with the help of Vercetti gang. 

- CJ: took over leadership of Grove Street families and has been cooperating with Tommy Vercetti. 

- Claude: unlike the previous two, Claude hasn't built any empire as his main goal was killing Catalina. He has kept connections with Ray and he is something of a friend. The Yakuza are also on good terms with him. He is still active and participates in races.

- Toni Cipriani: Dead. Killed by Tommy Vercetti himself shortly after the assassination of Salvatore as revenge for killing Avery Carrington. Toni attempted to defend himself but Vercetti quickly took him out.

I laughed at this more than I should have

Tommy - Went back to prison and was assassinated during his trial.

CJ - Was killed by a drive-by in Las Venturas (similar to Tupac's death in Las Vegas).

Sweet Johnson - Was killed in a drive-by in Los Santos (similar to Biggie Smalls's death outside a party)

Claude - Was killed by Toni Cipriani in a duel or maybe died during a high-speed police chase.

Phil Cassidy - Was killed during a political disagreement with fellow guns dealer Trevor Phillips.

Candy Suxxx - After Tommy's death she owns InterGlobal Studios

Tommy - alive and kicking. Still ruling his criminal empire in Vice City, but the increased control of the DEA/FBI (and probably health problems that start showing) forced him to lay low.

 

CJ - very rich and very famous. He become a successful musical producer and casino co-owner, but still don't forget Sweet ang GSF homies as he helps them with money. Probably doing the charity for kids/teenagers from Ganton to not let them enter the bands.

 

Claude - he moved to the west coast and start participating in underground racing. After racing culture faded in the late 00's he open a auto repair shop.

 

Toni Cipriani - probably dead because FBI/DHS start dig onto him after Little Italy bombings of 1998. Maybe feds liquidate him or Donald Love people covered the tracks.

I'd say the same for Tommy still running businesses.

Claude I could see just staying the same until he dies.

CJ tho I feel like he probably got the same treatment R* gave Franklin. Like just some record label producer or whatever idk i dont do online anymore lmao

Tommy: still running Vice City's underworld, keeping a low profile

 

Toni: likely took control of the Leones since there was no known underboss

 

CJ: became more wealthy and business minded, long away from the gang life

 

Claude: likely left Liberty after the ordeal with Catalina

Tommy still a big power in the Florida underworld although he's battling tax evasion and the rise of opioids and meth have cut into profits somewhat. 

 

CJ probably went on tour to celebrate mad Dogg's album going gold eventually makes a record label with madd dogg the gurning chimps and others. 

 

Claude probably went back to San fierro bought another garage to live a quiet life racing and tuning cars 

 

Toni leading the leone family as don 

 

Mike fled to parts unknown

Tommy went for a relaxing swim at the beach one day, and the rest is history.

Claude: Ran away from everything and hermits on a lonely island drinking cow milk, just wants to be left alone to die.

 

Tommy: Tried to murder Ernest Kelly after a mere bad dream about Kelly being a red spy, feeling disgraced he leaves everything behind to sulk and drink cow milk on a lonely island, doesn't want to be a crime lord anymore, just wants to die.

 

CJ: Tried to murder Cesar and Kendl's son in their sleep just for wearing purple socks, abandons everything to sulk on a lonely island, doesn't wear green anymore, hates green with a passion now and wants to die.
