Are the Forelli brothers still active and were they a small faction within the Leones

Alright thanks because some people said that forelli brothers were a faction that were trying to break off independent from Leones but then why did Joey Leon kill  2 of them if they were Leones so I got cunfused

To answer briefly, in GTA 3 the Forellis are screwed due to events of GTA LCS. They still own Marco's Bistro though, but they are pretty much in hiding, e.g. in the warehouses in Atlantic Quays. (the ones from "I Scream You Scream" mission) And because the last known to us member of Forelli Brothers is being killed by Claude, there's a very small chance they were able to change their situation in the next years. About the second question, LCPD reports mention that the Forellis were working for the Leones at some point, but it was temporary.
