Not a great performer. Can't keep traction in corners and lacks the acceleration to compensate for that. Does have quite a bit of a learning curve though, so it's nice for those of you who want a more challenging car to master. Rolling the car in corners is advised! (as opposed to accelerating mid-corner)

I feel like its the same guy who modeled the comet s2, that car also had a really well done interior with similar textures.

Makes sense. I hope nobody goes into buying this when it releases thinking it's gonna perform. The real car is from the 00's was the final version of the SLR, had a supercharged engine that needed to be revved up to receive full power, and despite its great power it uses a literal 5 speed (as does the SM722) and what was good for the 00's in terms of gearboxes is a borderline slushbox today. The car is made to be a looker for sure.

Is this thing wonderful to look at. Finally got my game running on PC and this one stood out. Oddly enough it's in the sports car class, and the 10f out performs it massively, so it's a bit odd.

The steering wheel is almost 1:1 to the W204 c class wheel and the middle console around the gearstick is identical to the one from the Audi A4 B8 gen I´d say. Crazy how close to rl these cars are getting.

I mean 15 years of technology does something, but i do think the 10f should be in supers

Also the top part of the console, radio buttons and vents are almost identical to BMW F10 5 Series.

LOL yeah, I mean the car looks like this as a tribute to the 300SLR... not because it's a super. I mean who would expect anything with a 5-speed gearbox to be a super?

I mean it is just a videogame with questionable consistency. There are cars from this era that are slower or just as fast I'm real life that are still supers. If they ever add the CGT or Enzo, you know they'd stuff them in Supers. It's a game, cars can be whatever they want, and I'd prefer them to add an SlR that doesn't struggle to hit 125, whereas the 10f blazes to 130+ no problem.

I'd much rather them not. I did not want this car to be another generic super, I wanted it to feel like a 00's sports car and it does. Makes it much more enjoyable to me. Not everything needs to be competitive, there are dozens of other cars for that.

Well the cars not slow so I don't know exactly what you want from it. Regardless of lore universe vs reality, an SLR is not gapping any R8 without at least a Renntech tune. The cars simply not that fast IRL and Rockstar decided it wouldn't be that fast in-game either. That was their decision, I personally don't think they did anything wrong either so... I dunno what to tell you. I also can't be assed to care about top speeds, I say anything topping out below 150mph is nonsense and these artificial speed barriers enforced by dragcoefficients and maxflatouts need to kick the bucket but... that's not happening.

This will be an instant purchase for me, just for the looks. Love the speedster look of the SLR SM.

A little sad it’s performance is very average, but hey at least now I have a competitive benefactor Stirling in the sports class to compensate for that.

Wait till you drive it. May change your mind.  Also plagued with the unstable bouncy handling flags  it’s literally impossible to drive.    I’m wondering why rockstar can’t get the handlings rite anymore.  How some cars have them and some new cars don’t.  Im not a developer to even try to understand that rabbit hole.  But it’s definitely Discouraging for someone like me that loves to drive around the map in these cars

Hmmmm from my testing its was all over road like Vamos was  back in the day.  These cars and audi do not benefit from spoiler traction bonus.  So there down force is not there

Does not mean it has the bouncy flag, sometimes is just reacting bad to bumps or has too little suspension travel, many things can cause this behaviour.
