I only work 6 hours that day. But I'm still upsetti spaghetti. 🤣

Yeah, that wording is confusing “including new showroom floors where players can test drive or simply purchase a range of new vehicles on the spot.”

Multiple floors within the same building is what I’m thinking, maybe split them out by manufacturers? And have the new drip feed “coming soon” model in the window?

But would it just be vehicles from Legendary Motors since it’s ‘Luxury Autos on Portola’? Wouldn’t really make sense having low end cars there. Maybe a different showroom for SSA vehicles and one for bikes (or to mimic each of the four criminal careers) – we will see on Tuesday!

One I thing I really want them to update so badly that I feel like no one else cares about but me is let me wear my hats in convertible cars please Rockstar I beg! 🙏 I wish I could wear them in any vehicle really but fair enough this is your lazy fix for clipping issues. But if the top can go down there's no excuse!

You can, but only in freeroam.

Become a VIP/CEO/MC, switch to one of the CEO/MC outfits & back to yours. Works with helmets & goggles (cosmetic) too. It also cleans your outfit from bloodstains & reverts to the outfit you were wearing before putting on the golf clothes during the judge assassination.

Well, Simeon’s dealership is about as Premium or Deluxe as the stock is Super on SSSA

Don’t know if it’s been mentioned in this forum. But one of the Imani tech vehicles seems to be the green muscle car in the newswire and trailer. If you zoom in you can see armor plating on the doors. If I were to take a guess the E Tron Audi is the other one.

Damn it works for literally every hat except the cowboy hat which is what I want it for. 🥲🥲 Thanks anyway! Good to know this trick for other hats.

If gta is your only game maybe.

Or, maybe people are just excited. I play other games and I also feel like time is passing slowly because I want to play the new update. :p

The wording for some of the things in both Newswires is kind of ambiguous which is a bit annoying, but I guess they're just using the names we'll see in-game for the features. Showroom Floors makes me think it's gonna be several locations, and they're called Showroom Floors themselves, not literal storeys of showrooms, but we'll see.

Probably a bit of over-thinking, here: I don't think they'll be multiple "floors", or that the buildings will be called "Showroom Floors".

Rather, it's just standard dealership terminology - and I reckon that collectively, they'll be called "Dealerships" (in the same way that Benny's, Los Santos Customs, and Beeker's Garage all come under the heading of "Mod Shops"). In a dealership, you might have the workshop/body shop for any repairs/detailing, and then the showroom, which is where they sell cars. From there, you'd probably have an office where they'll sit you down and talk financing and whatnot, while the showroom floor is the bit where all the cars are displayed.

So with that in mind, and from the Newswire description, it sounds like it's a variation on the LSCM Test Track, where you can go inside and check out the cars (rather than just buying them sight-unseen from a website) - not sure where you'll test them, though, because dealerships usually just let you take them for a drive nearby, rather than having a dedicated indoor track. Maybe it'll load you into something that functions a bit like a race: so it's in Los Santos, but in an instanced 'job', so you're not trying to test drive the car in World War III... 😬

This is closer to what I meant to say, hence there could still be more than one.

Oh, yeah - and that's intriguing, because they've currently only shown one (and the obvious one that already existed). Wonder where the other one is (or maybe there's more than two) - can't think of any pre-existing ones* they could use...

And regarding the name, considering that Rockstar calls all car art, pinstriping, racing liveries and vinyl decals "liveries", they could well just call them "Showroom Floors", like the entire building is the "floor" - even though that's not how words work, Rockstar! 🤬

[edit] *...what am I talking about - there's a really obvious dealership in GTA V!!! :sigh:

There is a candidate in Vinewood too, they could change this to have a small interior.

Don't forget Mosley's across from the Mega Mall in Davis

And Sanders Motorcycles, on Adam's Apple Boulevard, next to the highway

Personally im waiting for the dripfeed datamining/leaks more than the DLC itself "hoping" there is at least 1 car out of all the new ones that might like.

Commander S

Wow, so there's plenty of decent locations they could expand, then - hopefully we get a bunch of them!

I'm presuming that Larry's RV Sales won't be one of them - not unless Rockstar really thinks there's huge demand for people to test-drive the Journey... :p

Gonna be refreshing twitter every minute at 5 am on tuesday just to see the dripfeed. Happens every time. Its like christmas morning for me

Hopefully some japanese cars in there. Think an updated RH-8 is as overdue as the new 9F. Could also stand a proper Fairlady Z.. 190z doesnt really cut it imo, too much 2000gt in it to really take it seriously as a datsun

I’m personally hoping for a Euros Retro/300ZR from SA.

Lots of cool places to put a dealership yet we all know it will go into some silly location no one thought of.

One in paleto bay repurposing that gas station /garage would be pretty nice, not everything needs to be in LS.

Maybe test the Ruston? It lets you wear a helmet by default (without even having to use any tricks), so I assume it’d work for other headwear.

Yeah convertibles with no tops at all work fine it's the ones that have retractable tops that don't work. Specifically I wish I could wear my cowboy hat in my convertible sea wash green Tornado and take some nice shots but alas. :sadkek:
