Russian mafia has a way bigger presence here. Cartels are less visible but still pushing drugs through the city.

By only counting workdays, 400 days bring us back to July 2019. But, I'm inaccurately assuming that a new build is built on every workday which is not the case as shown within the videos since there are tons of sub versions in-between. So the more accurate estimation would be late 2018 - early 2019. Near RDR2's launch and we know Rockstar likes to move on into the next project right after releasing its previous major project.

 

RDR2 took 5 years of full development until release. Applying the same to VI, then we expect a release window in 2024.

Yeah, the dates are a giveaway, and it's clearly obvious that they were recorded in 2021 2022 but who uses a GTX 1080 GPU with the 1909 version of windows in 2021-2022.

 

at least 2 years worth of security patches were missin on that computer

Bad Company 2 didn't have that great destruction. Nowadays it looks and feels very bad.

there's new games with better destruction today? which are they? that still looks really great even for today actually, the trees don't disappear instantly like in far cry 6.

@WanteD1 thanks for sharing these are great to see I never got to play the newer battlefield games.

Does destruction cause performance issues and that's why many games avoid them? GTA should have destruction, it's a game that needs it.

A studio as large as R* would definitely provide company workstations/laptops to all employees

 

edit. Also on the whole windows version thing, in enterprise environments its not uncommon to be still using an older version due to software compatibility etc, MS does still support/provide updates to some very old Enterprise versions, 1909 just went EOL earlier this year.

Yw, I remember destroying tower in shanghai(BF4) was causing a heavy FPS drop with my AMD R9 290 (I was using mantle API) and it was Stuttering during big destructions!  

But after upgrading to GTX 1080... game was 2X smoother + there was not any FPS drop during destructions! 

Just saying: new battlefields are sh!t stay away from them... IMO peak of battlefield was BF3 and BF4... I remember BF3 fans and BF4 fans hated each other  

I was BF4 fanboy... it's the best online gaming experience I've ever had....I loved attack heli and jet dogfights it was very competitive unlike GTA...in GTA who ever shots first wins but in BF4 it was all about skills! BF1 was something everyone could like but I recommend you guys try BF4 it's so addictive!

To be fair, the massive destruction events that happen in Battlefield are pre-animated and are not dynamic in almost any way. Don't get me wrong, they're super cool, but its not "real" destruction. But you could argue for the smaller destruction elements Battlefield has like chipping away at some buildings and knocking some trees downs and stuff.

I feel like GTA could use some Just Cause 3-lite destructions, you can't really blow up buildings but trees, bridges and some walls are all destructible. Don't think the game needs anything crazy but minor stuff would be cool.

Well of course newer Battlefield games have better destruction lol but most games don't actually have BFBC2 destruction to begin with.

Are rockstar even the type to tease their games like people are saying with the UFO? Personally I don't think they are the type to officially tease GTA VI through GTA online. I guess they might change that because of how successful GTA online is/was but still see that as a slim chance as it's not rockstar's culture.
