They were always nice filler but to be brutally honest, with RDRII Rockstar showed that they don't really need that kind of content nowadays. If they will do this they will probably do this purely for the fans and they would be probably still way, way more advanced that the ones you see in 3D era because well, they don't simply fit to way more complex HD era.

So.... We are finally here! 18 October.

Personally i find hard to believe that a reveal will happen since people are expecting it.

On the other hand the game HAS to be revealed especially after Februarys "soon" and after the leak.

 

We'll see... If October is a no go i vote for February, one year after the initial semi announcement.

 

I do hope it's Oct though, it lines up nicely (VC anniversary etc.)

What he’s saying is right. Everyone’s expecting 21st or the 29th, you know rockstar, they’re really unpredictable and might not announce it on a special day

They aren't *that* unpredictable, although I can see them moving the trailer date by a few days just so the fake "leakers" who said 21st and 28th/29th would be proven wrong.

And one question: Wikipedia states that the first GTA was released on November 28. Is that true, or do they have it wrong?

Those aren’t even the only hints, so to speak. Rockstar literally mentioned the game twice this year, and for a reason that’s not just to control any damage.

Dude, we saw the game and it’s certainly not in its early stages anymore. If it’s not this year, it’ll be the next one. Stop acting like this game is so far away just because you feel this way.

maybe a dumb question, but why are those ufo´s from gta online linked with GTA VI just because of one pic with the house and the ufo in the backround? For me those ufo´s are just a special and temporary halloween event which won´t give us any hints or sth else.

I agree, I don’t think there’s a solid link between these two elements. I just think that it’s time for this game to be unveiled and we have many other reasons to think that it’s gonna happen soon.
