Lol I was 16 when GTA IV came out

 

21 when GTA V released

 

27 when RDR 2 released

 

will be 33 or 32 depending on which part of 2024 GTA VI comes out... if it comes out that year at all. Crossing my fingers for a 2024 or sooner release

GTA 6 seems to be a very ambitious game and 1 or 2 minute trailer won't really do it justice. Especially after the leaked footage which shows off various gameplay features. I think there is a good chance we may get a small gameplay video in addition to a trailer. It would be a good idea to show a little of the map and the technology properly. This won't be like past reveals where the characters, map and features were shrouded in mystery. We already know a lot about the game.

 

I would be totally fine with a trailer and nothing else, but I'm hoping for a little more this time around.

Doesnt seem like something rockstar would do, i bet the reveal trailer will just be some music playing over different scenes of the map, more a map showcase than anything story/gameplay related, that we will get after another year long info drought. Rockstar dont like revealing too much too soon with how much they cut from the final games, but i cant wait to use the old leaked footage to analyse for beta content

I had just turned 17 when V came out. I remember thinking how cool it was that I was finally old enough to buy M rated games alone.

 

Now I'm a severely depressed broke loser in his late twenties, and I periodically start GTA Online to fly around the city on my Oppressor thinking about what could've been until the sheer boredom hits me again and I turn it off for another two months.

Did they release the first trailers for GTA V and RDR2 months later? Not as far as I know. That's all I'll say.

I remember those YouTube videos from forever ago, which were titled "How to get a Girlfriend in GTA V Online"  good ol' times

 

The sheer amount of those same videos that are going to be made after the release of VI is just frightening, especially when one of the main characters has a cake bigger than the Burj Khalifa

Yeah, and we already knew it was Vice City anyways. Still, it would've been kinda cool if our first look at the map wasn't like this, but who cares anyways.  I'll still be equally as happy and excited when the trailer comes out.

Well, I was just referring to the protagonists' appearances. Now, when we see them in the trailer we'll know 100% who they are. If we hadn't seen what they look like in the leaks, there would still possibly be some uncertainty about which character from the trailer is the protagonist. Still, we haven't properly heard them talking or anything (apart from a few generic lines), so there's still something to be excited about for the trailer.

I think the big main issue with that dating crap aside from being extremely weird is that most are kids playing the game  that aren't 18 yet, not even 15. the op didn't even think of that?

To me he's a random white guy who was born in a wealthy family and growing up became homeless, his family fell apart with crime related stuff, let's say his father was part of a mob or something, or his family owed debt to criminals.

Lucia being a migrant? I think that's too generic and sounds more like the 80s Cuban situation, I think Lucia might had already grew up there and something made her turn to crime.
