T2 is the publisher. This means nothing. It includes any and all games including mobile, from all their developers.

 

Fact is that with the higher quality and scale of AAA games, they're just going to take longer.

 

Until advanced AI can generate a lot more by itself, this will stay the same.

Agreed. There’s folk saying that that the investors are pressuring R* to release a game, I’m sure that’s true…

But also, if R* released a ‘rushed’ and ‘bad’ game - their whole reputation and fan following (I.E. us nerds) would be gone and they wouldn’t achieve such good sales anymore.

So yeah, I’m sure they get pressure to release games quicker - but I’m pretty sure they’re given a lot of time and freedom to do it the way that only they know how to do it… 

I want them to do it right, but like, I also want it asap lol

Same here. GTAs, RDRs, i bought LA Noire for PS4 and Uncharted's, that's all i play now a days. Well Call of duty's too but depends on the story, im not in to the futuristic stuff or online. I got excited about the upcoming pirate game but apparently it's online driven game as well, so fuggedabouddit.......

I wonder if it's just me or is the hype for a potential GTA VI reveal within the next two weeks completely gone now that those leaks happened a couple weeks ago?

Also there are videos of people having somehow "unlocked" every day of the event. There's a video of the abduction.

 

This would mean that if they do plan something, there would have to be an update downloaded that day. And the 21st? I'm off that day so now I'm even more excited!

Well the UFO's appearance could just be related to an external announcement (if that was the case), making it appear in-game wouldn't do anything because any happenings would be physically posted by R*.

I always have them on, can never miss if there is an exctiting announcement but often it's just GTA Online and RDR2 stuff so 99% im wasting my time getting excited when i receive a Rockstar notification on my phone haha

It's just you. Why don't you feel the excitement anymore? Only thing that was sort of "ruined" was the initial map and protagonists reveal, but everything else made me more hyped for the game than I was before.

I don't. I actually wanna learn about the announcement from you guys. It's the best feeling when you try to enter the forum and all you can see are thousands of cheeringful comments and then going on Twitter to actually see what's going on.

See, for me that wasn't even a proper look cause the actual graphics will be much different. It's like those leaks fueled my interest even more and prepared me for the real deal.

The map and protagonists weren’t ruined for me personally simply because of that article from a few months ago and Vice City and the male/female thing has been around for years , if anything it would’ve been more shocking to me if VI wasn’t in Vice city

I’m kinda hoping R* troll us a bit with their ‘unveiling’… if they made the announcements over the next few weeks - then we’re always going to expect them to do it in October. And R* should be unpredictable.

 

Something like maybe changing their logo on the socials to just a colour on the 21st… but then giving nothing, no ‘trailer coming on X’, no proper logo - nothing else. And just staying quiet for a few months till like February where they just drop a teaser logo… 

 

Keep us fanboys on our toes.
