I just don’t see another whole year until the announcement. October 2023 would be 5 years since RDR 2. Which is an insane gap between a game release and the announcement of the next one

If GTAVI comes out in 2025 - I’ll be 40. 
even though I was 28 when GTAV came out.

But GTAVII will then likely only come out 2035… and I’ll be 50! Is that too old? Lol

Because didn’t the Jason schreier article say take two has a panes release for this that takes place between April 2023 and March 2024

Here is why i think that Rockstar is announcing GTA 6 on Friday 21st:

 

1. It's the 25th year anniversary of the original Grand Theft Auto game that released October 21st 1997, 25 years that's a very significant anniversary. So honestly can't you guys imagine a newswire that looks like this: "Celebrating 25 years of Grand Theft Auto a look at the past and the future that awaits, today marks the 25 anniversary of Grand Theft Auto" and then going to like "We're proud the next chapter, Grand Theft Auto 6" or something along those lines i could totally see Rockstar doing that. And they also did that last year with the GTA Trilogy the definitive edition, they actually announced that game was coming out on the 20th anniversary of Grand Theft Auto 3. It was on that date October 22nd 2021 that we got the trailer for the GTA trilogy the definitive edition and it was on the October 22nd 2001 that GTA 3 actually launched.

 

2. GTA Online UFO Halloween Event: On October 21st that is when a Stealth UFO will spawn in GTA Online alongside the normal UFOs. Why would Rockstar suddenly decide to do that and why would they do that on speificly October 21st? It lines up with GTA-Series anniversary AND it's also on a friday which i know might sound insignificant but the two times that Rockstar has officially mentioned GTA 6 (they haven't called it by that name they have just called it the next installment in the GTA-Series) they have talked about it on a newswire post that has came on friday. I'm not saying it's a gurantee but alot of things are starting to line up here, the day of the week friday, the date that's it's on October 21st, the significance of the anniversary and also what Rockstar did last year with the GTA-Trilogy definitive edition AND what's going on in GTA Online like why all of a sudden on that day would something be a little bit different?

 

3. Both Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA 5 was both announced in October

 

4. There's nothing in GTA Online's files that suggests that something WILL happen on October 21st RIGHT NOW but obviously Rockstar isn't going to do that right now cause we would already know about it right now. BUT what they CAN DO is that they can slip something in at the very last minute probably giving us an hour or less to figure out "ok something is going on here" and then we would know that Rockstar was about to announce GTA 6 for the first time or give us some sort of hint or reveal or something along those lines. So definetely keep your eyes in the skies on October 21st

R* games are the only games I get seriously excited for, and their replayability. Other games are fine but nothing comes close.

Correct it will only spawn on this upcomming Friday above Los Santos (I think if 'm correct) and why is that you may ask? i have no clue but maybe Rockstas does and plans use that for some reason, we can only speculate what that may be.

Could be. Sounds too coincidental. But keep in mind that particular one was in the hangar during last years business battle, and is also where the alien egg bunker resupply is.

 

Also there are videos of people having somehow "unlocked" every day of the event. There's a video of the abduction.

 

This would mean that if they do plan something, there would have to be an update downloaded that day. And the 21st? I'm off that day so now I'm even more excited!

I'm 20 and I feel the same lol, so many games coming out, but I hardly get excited for any of them since they're either not my type, or they're soulless, buggy, or both. Rockstar Games, Naughty Dog, and I'd even say Insomniac Games are the only ones whose games I get excited for.

I hate this argument. No one is too old to play video games. If you can take care of everything you need to do in life, your bills are paid, food is in the fridge, and you have some extra time to do something you enjoy, do it.

They seriously need to increase their speed and production when it comes to releasing games, it's NOT ok for them and for us to wait up to 10 years or more between releases of new GTA-Games now and in the upcomming future games. That is NOT a trend i want to see

Exactly. There are people who enjoy binge watching tv sereies every single day, yet that sounds completely normal if done at any age, but if you play videogames they treat you like a nerd.

Also you need to keep in mind that this is an outdated view that is carried over from the 80s and 90s, when most gamers were kids.  We grew up, and thankfully the games grew up with us.
