The earnings meeting isn't going to host anything official i don't believe. We might see projected revenue telling us if they game will be out but... earnings will most likely be the same.

We're not expecting to learn anything from the earnings call itself. If an announcement is going to happen, it'll happen before the earnings call so they can hype their investors up with that. So we have from now until the 6th for an announcement.

Yeah it might be nothing. But they might have permission to tease something small about gta 6. How often do we interact with developers?

Alls I'm saysins is gta6 is more likely to have a teaser at an official rockstar dev interview then a take two earnings call.

The only time I can see devs getting permission to talk about gta 6 is when it's released I think it's more of a career thing if anything

It's literally just a few devs doing a talk about game development. This happens all the time and it's not usually publicised, same for many other game studios.

I am genuinely asking this and not to make fun or be sarcastic, what's wrong with the one yoga mission we got in GTAV, I have never ever had any issues with it myself, do people find it difficult/boring?

This would be the perfect time for an announcement, 25th anniversary of GTA, 20th anniversary of GTA Vice City, the earnings call in November... and they might want to make people forget about those leaks and show all doubters (aka those who said it looks too much like GTA 5 or Watch Dogs 2) what the actual graphics and game in general look like as soon as possible.

 

Even if I am only a tiny bit skeptical about it, I still believe we'll see an announcement this month, which just seems too surreal to say.

I hate GTA+ and have a fear of what it might bring in the future, but I have made peace with the idea that it will rack them cash every single month the day it was announced, whether I like it or not.

In a way i don't mind monetization like this. If it keeps the boat floating in the long term for everyone while there are people that have no problem paying for such things, i'm ok with it. But if it comes with butchering actual content from the game and not just keep it on the cosmetic side, then we're gonna have a problem.

That is what I am fearing, I get the whole "it's never enough" when it comes to businesses looking for ways to make cash, and the service is now in a weird area since it has exclusive cosmetic stuff and also offers expensive cars for free (sometimes early) for subscribers, but who knows where they might take it after that.

Which is why it happens in the next few weeks BEFORE the call or we're probably waiting until early 2023 for a reveal.

I feel like GTA+ will play a bigger role in VI, sadly. Maybe they won't allow direct money purchases like they did with Shark Cards in V, but instead you can get a monthly bonus if you have GTA+. I doubt it'll happen, but it'd be better than having Shark Cards imo.
