Games were always doing controversial sh*t, Manhunt had no reason to be banned at least from what I saw. Quake 4's body torture/modification by the strogg is another example, how no one noticed that in 2005? Oh but you're not the one torturing so it is fine! what?

Tbh, whatever would be the next game after GTA6 is likely already in pre-production by now.

 

It reminds me of what Dan Houser said in a Polygon interview back in September 2013.

But the internal document, select members saw, dating back to late 2012 indicated the Houser brothers, Leslie Benzies and Aaron Garbut already started brainstorming the next GTA title. However, of course, he won't state that within public interviews.

that looks like an online character though, the face is different..? It is one of the first clips

He's using the wristbands that appears in every other Jason footage though, pretty sure it's just a different hairstyle for him

Apart from the wristbands, that same character appears in another clip where in the debug text it says something like PLAYER_STORY, so it's most definitely Jason.

If console and PC versions released at the same time, then those who would've bought console first and PC later, would just skip console for PC.

 

Since they know they can get double buyers, they will release console first and PC 6-12 months later.

I would guess it was set up as a linear story with multiple setpiece missions and put together with cutscenes, like Max Payne 3. Maybe the missions would be more open-ended and explorable like the new Hitman games, since it seems like you could either stealth it or shoot through it. Or maybe it would be more like the Splinter Cell games. Agh, I’m just sad it got cancelled. So much wasted potential. An exclusive Rockstar game, especially a brand new IP, would be a system seller for me.

Logo tease on October 21st for 25th anniversary of GTA, with a trailer release on October 28th or 29th for GTA Vice City's 20th anniversary. Seems a bit... too perfect.

In fairness, it's not very visible. Certainly if you don't know about it beforehand. The brain has its way of not looking at every little thing and just focusing on what stands out most or what you're looking for.

It could have, but who knows, maybe it was going to be completely overshadowed by Grand Theft Auto, much like Max Payne 3 did back in 2012.

Make the font a little bigger for that, it used to be about sharing mod links and whatnot so unless you really pay attention, you'd easily miss it.

 

I don't know how it works but I wonder if you can put a warning above the text box? I think that will be better, like as soon as you click on the box to type anything, the warning shows up.

 

On the other side though, it's very obvious that those leaks shouldn't be shared anyway, they're getting removed anywhere so why would this place be any different.

I was checking the clips again and I noticed something. Radar only shows up when the character gets in a vehicle in some of the clips. I hope they found a solution for the damn annoying big radar.

So you're saying VI's preproduction started a few months before V's release and that VII's preproduction is a few months underway..

 

Can I wait a couple of days for the camping gear to ship or is it better if we already start the queues for the imminent release?
