Personal vehicles don't run out of fuel and also can be recovered if they got destroyed or disappeared due to draw distance limitation 

You also can just steal random vehicles to complete the game like old gta games but those stolen vehicles will run out of fuel at some point

Cops will recognize the vehicles you stole from seeing number plates, color and model so you have to be careful about that

I like this idea for fuel; but just like fuel, the number plates thing comes down to execution.  I’d like a balance between realism and arcade, so consumable fuel and number plates would have to be executed perfectly for it to work in my opinion.  Mafia II had a number plate system where cops could recognize your plates.. it worked out OK but left some to be desired.

so you were 8-9 years old when GTA V released

 

 

 

well you have to get used to new protagonists since you grew up with GTA V. 

Go play the old ones if you haven't, you'll like them.
