Anyone else feeling even more frustrated with the lack of information now that we got a little taste and had it ripped away?  Not being able to link things, examine them together and break them down is super annoying. 

 

I understand why things are they way they are, i just find it more frustrating than not knowing anything at all, it's like being hungry and staring at a locked refrigerator with a glass door lol

Having to abandon a stolen car because it ran out of gas, who cares.. but having to abandon your own car because it ran out of gas would really suck.

Idea: You can purchase or steal cars and set it as your personal vehicle like how you can do in GTA Online

Personal vehicles don't run out of fuel and also can be recovered if they got destroyed or disappeared due to draw distance limitation 

You also can just steal random vehicles to complete the game like old gta games but those stolen vehicles will run out of fuel at some point

Cops will recognize the vehicles you stole from seeing number plates, color and model so you have to be careful about that

Why is everyone convinced that he's not the real deal? Surely he knows that pissing off the GTA community would be bad for his career (assuming he doesnt play Jason)

 

His behavior to me doesn't seem super odd, seems to be teasing but nothing extreme that Rockstar would be mad about, hell maybe Rockstar asked him to tease us a little while we wait.

On the other hand, nowadays Rockstar hire relatively unknown actors for their lead roles (which is great), if Bryan plays Jason he likely isn't used to this much attention and doesn't quite know how to act with a whole fanbase obsessing over him before his involvement is even officially announced. (assuming he is Jason)

I quite like your ideas and they got me thinking:

 

What if stolen vehicles had on average a lot less fuel than a full tank when you steal them, you have the option to refuel if you want.

your personal vehicle would automatically be refueled if you haven't played with that character for some time (implying that they took a trip to get gas) - actually refuelling your car isnt something the player would do unless they end up on a very long roadtrip or use the same character for a long time. I think people would like the mechanic if it didnt feel like a chore, more like a hint of immersion every now and then. Nobody will complain if you had to refuel your car 5 times over the course of a playthrough.

 

Stolen vehicles having less fuel gives an advantage to sticking to your personal ride, im very much hoping there is the ability to change your active personal vehicle or use multiple like cyberpunk.

 

Basically: If done right this will be a great mechanic loved by most players, if done wrong its gonna be annoying as sh*t.

Having played Grand Theft Auto up until the PS3 & Xbox 360 era (so... GTA V ) I've been only disappointed in Rockstar ever since and hope this is a massive flop.

 

Of course it won't be, but it'd be nice. They deserve it for all the crap they've done in recent years - milking GTA Online, mod DMCAs, GTA V "Expanded & Enhanced" and the Trilogy Defective Edition.

We have first hand accounts from former cast members in R* games that R* don't even allow them to follow each other on social media.

 

You think they're okay with one half of their protagonist duo all but outright confirming their role in GTA VI which originated from Jason's reveal in leaks?

 

I don't blame the guy for having a bit of fun with it, but all signs point to him not having a line of work in GTA VI.
