Hoping the cops are like that, feels more realistic. I know cops do stupid things in real life but not all of them even if you are a criminal without any weapons visible on you, they just point the gun seems more realistic to me. They did that with GTA IV but not in the way that you can escape.

Yeah I hope that the cops won't just rush inside and start shooting even tho there's hostages and stuff. Imagine if they added an option to negotiate with the cops. :realisticsteak:Or, if you are inside for too long, NOOSE comes to handle it.

I think that RDR2 is the end of the old RAGE engine. GTA 6 is build on a new engine , a new RAGE. I believe they are working hard on animations, because RDR2 was amazing. I guess they wont make the errors they did from GTA4 to GTA5. And honestly i can not wait to see all the small details.

A little reminder

It's always a new RAGE, nothing new. GTA V is RAGE, RDR2 is too yet at first glance they have nothing in common because for RDR2 they changed a whole lot of stuff which was already the case for V or before (a bit less because games took less time to be made back then) but there was always something different in a newer game in terms of gameplay or simply engine stuff

I hope we get rid of tapping A/X to run

You can already get rid of it by switching control presets (in GTAV and RDR2) to either Standard FPS or Standard FPS2.

Still, you'd have to tap L3/R1 repeatedly in GTAV to sprint in third person (in first person, you can just hold the button), but in RDR2 there's a separate accessibility option to enable Toggle to Run, so that you can just tap L3/R1 once to jog, and twice to sprint.

Who is the president, though?

On a serious note if anyone is unaware, titles like VP, SVP, EVP etc will be more indicative of pay grade and seniority across functions. Quite possibly there is no one with a higher level title than SVP in writing following Dans departure. Above them will be basically EVP and C-Suite who will basically be running the company - finance, marketing, strategy, priorities etc.

It's still motion blur? Seems like it is but it is pre-applied. They're not moving there, the car does only, typical motion blur happening when you the player moves around and you see that effect but not when you stand still and see a car moving. That clip the character was standing still.

4:52

looks nice, but I don't like the other type of blur when you move around, makes me dizzy, this one is fine though

per object motion blur

Also what Gta VI has is TAA, which makes sh*t blurry as f*ck, especially on non 4k monitor. rdr2 had it too. Wonder if gta vi will have fsr 2.0 etc, would love to use them for anti aliasing etc

Rockstar makes somewhat good PC ports now btw, GTA V and RDR2 were good (ofc RDR2 is newer and more demanding). GTA IV though still struggles lol. GTA V was running previously on my i3 2100, 4GB RAM and GTX 650 TI potato on normal/high settings. (got new pc now with 1660 S now, all ultra except few things I get 100 fps) GTA VI will probably have a good port as well I don't see it being that demanding except if it releases after 2024..

You should've seen when RDR2 released on PC then lol, it's graphics looked like a christmas tree, flicking lights everywhere.

True, but now it's a staple of scalibility in graphics settings and they've been implementing new upscaling technologies through updates, so it's a great port nowadays.

Given FSR 2.0 was added to RDR2, along with the graphics settings video memory message that was in the leaked footage, I think it's safe to say they probably took FSR support from GTA VI's codebase as well and it will have it on PC 100%.

Supported for DX12, aye.

Actually don't take my word on that. A video i watched has a comparison between the three & a lot of people have mentioned that what was shown could just be dlss not fsr 2.1.

Gta 4 pc was ported by Rockstar Toronto which was the x360 version.

So much microstutters on non Vulkan hardware, it made me highly mod gta Chinatown Wars on ppsspp and get away from 4 for now.

Gta 5 is the first goodly optimised gta game on pc imho, experienced by myself.

Rdr 2 is yet to be tested by me.

I know that too 😂 I wonder if their games will be updated to support Vulkan 1.3 or newer.

apparently you can download fsr 2.1 dx12 dll for rdr2 and it works fine, even fixes the ugly power lines

but good luck doing that on launcher version

In my experience RDR2's optimization is good, almost on GTAV level although it has its problems. I used to have lots of issues with it like stutters, texture loss, AI not reacting & similar sort of bugs, but all of it was fixed after I upgraded from 8 to 16 gigs of RAM.

What about Vulkan shader cache pipeline error, is it fixed now?

I loathe the Rockstar launcher. I bought GTAV on it and then realized it cannot be modded the same way other versions can. Didn't make the same mistake with RDR2 though :shillkek: (and thank god Epic came with the clutch and gave GTAV away for free, never launched the Rockstar Launcher version again)

Can't recall such errors in recent memory. I remember when I first bought the game, first two tries to launch it gave me an error related to shaders and turned off the game (it happened during that first loading bar when you launch the game, which I suppose are the shaders loading). Third time it launched with no issues. My game has never crashed since then. Maybe I'm just lucky :kekw:

I got the code too for free but lost it when my google account was deleted by me. But anyways I had my fun only realizing that we really need a game designed up from ground for modern hardware, maybe its me but Gta ctw seems to be the only game I really love playing right now.

That video is fake as sh*t. No one else was able to swap DLLs to implement FSR 2.1 in RDR2 without the game crashing while loading saves. There are multiple people reporting the exact same issue, but somehow that dude was magically able to do it. The major red flag is that when people asked him to provide his own DLLs, he either refused or never replied.
