Correct me if im wrong;

but surely they could have finished at any time;

the most basic ingredients based on an update to V, shouldnt have taken long at all;

 

its just up to them as to when they decide that they have added enough;

or when they decide that the remaining things they want to add, were too much ' and must be abandoned.

 

i mean,

some of them will want to just throw out whatever is popular,

and some of them have big ' ambitious ideas.

 

is the reason for delay, from people who are passionate about it; who are improving it,

or is it from covid or staff delays,

 

or is some twat messing with it when they dont play games

 

im more than happy to wait if itll be hte same level of improvement that we are used to with Rockstar,

their games are always classics when they come.

Last night, I got a news notification that Trump is being sued… and my first thought was - I wonder how (or even if) they will parody trump somehow in GTA…? If anyone can do it justice - R* can.

 

also - it would be fun, to find a way to make Mar-a-Lago Tommy Vercetti’s old estate…!

 

I think R* have expressed concerns and difficulties in parodying the current political climate (though I think this was a comment made during Trumps presidency) so it’ll be interesting to see if it shows up in the game.

I'm a bit obsessed too. I enjoy reading all the different takes everyone has around here. Only problem is now everyone's asleep and I ran out of things to read. (Well, I could read hundreds of pages but I mean come on man. Ok maybe I will)

 

Curious to see how they do manage their parodies this time around and what they cover/don't. Surely Trump has got to be parodied in some way

now that the game is a tangible thing that exists and that we've seen it, it feels like time is going to drag longer to release that what it would have when it was still a mystery

That's why they should take notes from those companies whose employees came in defense of Rockstar.  Plus, it's no secret, Ubisoft isn't a well received company lol so, it's not surprising one of their employees had to talk sh*t about a game, which is far better than any game they've put out, and for what reason? Nothing, made themselves and the company look like a joke.

 

It's all about having a great leadership and those companies lack that.

I know they said they don't anticipate any long term effect on the development of the game but how would we know? lol

 

We don't have a release date or anything, so who's to say that it would've released sooner if it wasn't for the leak?

I think a limited carrying capacity is confirmed. I was just looking at a clip and one of the lines on the debugger says "Weapons: Primary [ Pistol ] Secondary [ Unarmed ]"

I know GTA is a video game. But Cuba would be highly unrealistic for a GTA game. There is virtually no crime there.

Yes, but everybody knows they can't strike everything forever. With such a high-profile game, these leaks will be everywhere forever, so stinky corpos BTFO.

I think the story is gonna start with jaosn and lucia being really small time robbers , halfway through the game we will be richie rich with mansions and money laundering happening all over vice city then the 3rd half of the game will be the downfall of you're empire with the two characters on the run from everyone especially cartel . Would love if we get something like the hoovermax pro vacuum guy from Breaking bad universe . One last score to make enough money to get away forever but only one protagonist will do so or maybe rockstar will explore different theme's such as recklessness , drug abuse or toxic relationship like Jimmy and Kim wexler from Better Call Saul  . One thing that will definitely be a huge part will be drug smuggling as it was supposed to be what the original plan for this game was but scratched .

Guys and girls, if you got the leaked footage downloaded then fine, analyse it all you want, discuss it here, but don't you ever post it anywhere, not here or nowhere else, not even after GTA 6 releases, don't put yourself in Take-Two's radar and let's bury this leaked footage at least publicly.

injust hope there will be enough slow paced times where you are free to explore a little bit more in between chapters.

in rdr2 there were a few times where you could explore but then the story suddenly kicked off and was rushing you to an end.

They will be walking really close to RDR1’s plot, IF Dan Houser actually wrote the entire story then we will be getting something entirely new just like every single story he wrote is different from each other in almost every way

So, if it’s predictable it’s not going to be it… but yes, I agree that having a downfall would make it dark like some of us like.

Perhaps a bittersweet ending like GTA SA’s story would fit better

True, a little more realism would be cool. I just don't want the writing as serious and morbid as RDR2, but I also would like it a little more real than slapstick spaghetti cartel characters like Madrazo and El Rubio.

This, Martin Madrazo could've been such a mean antagonist, wasted potential.
