But hey. I must admit, I do think loads will be cut from what we’ve seen in the clips. Rockstar cut so many things out of RD2. I think when the games released a lot of us will be upset seeing how much have been cut. Rockstars worse nightmare everyone seeing the game this early. Then again they were developing for 2013 hardware with RD2

Also, GTA V's map had these annoying  boring mountains and hills that you could by pass faster with the Toreador car on GTA Online, it is kinda fun with it, but in singleplayer you had to go ALL THE WAY AROUND in roads and took more time, or get stuck hitting trees trying to fall down, eventually exploding,  they had nothing, just some deers. Here this is florida, the land will be flat except perhaps very up north side like we saw with a few hills.

 

The only worth mountain area and hills was the small Paleto "FOREST". The rest weren't done very well I think above Los Santos, compared to how they are in California, due to hardware limitations back then.

I’m excited to have volumetric clouds to fly through instead of GTA 5’s 2d cloud layer that forms when you’re in the air.

Nah the clips are captured on a real PC. There are specs in the footage. The VRAM warnings is because the game isn't optimised at all, it was using 8+ GB at times lol.

Their Support was intruded into and someone was sending people a hacked executable posing as the 2K Launcher, yeah.

If it doesn't come onto PC day-one, it'll probably come out a month after the console release. I highly doubt they'll make PC players wait over a month (especially not a year or two) just to get the game.

Freaking 2d clouds, how dare they not use volumetric clouds for the game when they were dev-ing it for that PS3, it's very capable.

I hope GTA Online becomes its OWN thing, and that they don’t compromise  the GTA 6 storyline for it this time around.  Like keep the GTAO fans on GTAO after 6 releases.

It's just funny seeing a forum that's usually filled with people using common sense suddenly have a bad take. I distinctly remember having this conversation in a thread before and most people agreed that there wouldn't be a PC release day 1, now everyone switched up. But it's fine, we're gonna see. The PC Day 1 people will join the 80s and no female protag people in the disappointment club.

Online Only players are way too many, they don't care about a story at all, that's fine, their choice. They should have it as a separate game entirely, like an updated version of GTAO. I've seen so many that haven't touched the single player on steam forums and have around 500 hours. I think they will prefer it, I will too since less download time. 120+ GB is way too much. Imagine GTA VI which will be around 150GB just for single player.

(which are younger people mostly I assume no offense, younger gamers don't seem that interested in story mode?)

That's what they're doing on console. I only have GTA Online on the Ps5. I think it will get a big update once they're releasing GTA VI's version. We will see in the future.

you guys do realize if Rockstar isn't that far in story development they can scrap Jacob and Lucia and create a new set of protagonists

 

it all hinges on how far they are in terms of story and voice acting etc.
