In Grand Theft Auto V we weren't able to crouch and now it seems that we'll be able to crouch and crawl.

Things I've noticed in the clip with Jason and Lucia at the stripclub called Jack of Hearts:

-The guy giving them a tour around is called Dre

-there are 2 popups of new Contacts, Billy and RB Shaw

-The minimap shows 2 missions: one for WM and one for YJ.

 

-When they get upstairs there's a guy named Sam yelling against a woman.

Agreed, all that FIB stuff in GTA V really made what couldve been a decent story of two old friends reuniting and looking to settle a score over past misdeeds wack asf. We should be f*cking going against the government and robbing them for everything they've got, not working with them to save America from a gas attack or some saints row inspired bullsh*t. Leave that sorta corny storytelling to Volition please Rockstar 🙏

Also, looks like we'll be able to move around elements of our vehicle's interior. 

 

Bruh, let's just hope they won't scrap any of that.

I think that's them fine tuning optimal placement for the vehicle interior parts, not actual vehicle interior customization

it seems the game is going to be composed with more free world robbery opportunities, hence the bonnie and clyde theme.

 

I don't know it plays too much like a mission to me. Telling you how long until police are dispatched, objectives to rob the registers, etc. Imo there's a 90% chance this is one of the first missions you do since it's giving you tips and telling you that you're wanted by police.

i think its a shame that there was not more sea traffic north of LS, and that the world building ended for the water surface.

 

i hope that we get a greater variety of coastal police, it being such a naval city.

this is so much better; i have always had difficulty finding cover without using the snap on mechanic, which makes it difficult to shoot

 

i look forward to being able to lay down with a rifle, shooting from the floor corner of cover

I would say they are relatives of Jason, and if i had to guess, they will get wacked and Jason will go after revenge. Maybe they messed up with big fish and somehow he will meet Lucia that will have a common goal to take down a drug baron. Meanwhile they will get too much connected, then they will get horny and they will "freak" and make a redneck latino baby. :shillkek:

I would say that they will be at some point f*cked and having to deal with small heists to get some money, but i don't think it will be the main point of the story.

 

Also, for those who are saying that Vice City will be the same thing as Los Santos, go home, you're drunk. LA don't have typhoons, heavy tropical-ish rains and idk which can be hotter during summer. When i played Vice City as a kid i got astonished how beautiful the map was in terms of colours, sunny days that would put you in a good vibe but also dark clouds pouring some heavy rain that would make you feel cozy and nostalgic while listening Emotion 98.3, i got a bit poetic here. :cringekek:

yeah, it’s a possibility.

 

but it didn’t seem scripted or scripted to the extent of the regular NPC missions in GTA V.

 

however it’s possible they just didn’t include the script due to it just being in a testing situation and testing game mechanics.

yeah, it’s possible they just didn’t include the script as it was in a test environment.

 

i guess we just have to wait and see.

alot of the UI was missing, because it was in debug mode (authough this is likely the default mode untill just before launch)

 

i cant tell tho; it does feel like it could be a one off.

It looks like the game will go heavily into some of the ideas introduced in RDR 2 and GTA Online 

 

-Thousands of world events 

-Deep interaction with NPC's (Greet/Threaten)

-Hundreds of items and a deep inventory system 

-Smaller weapon loadout (Likely weapons are stored in your vehicle/bag)

-Lots of detailed interiors (looks to be a lot more than V)

 

Could be a good mix of GTA and RDR !

Well, what is the wrong point of wanting to recreate a successful game concept from 20 years ago with today's technological capabilities? We didn't see anything so far, it's just a leak of the early stage of development. But if Vice City would feel the same as Los Santos, and it would be OK for you, then which point attracted you to play that city on GTA VI? Just go and play GTA V.

I've seen people mention in the leak 'round-up' list that one of the videos features a lake, implying it is far away from Vice City itself. 

 

I can't seem to find it though - is it the one of Jason shooting in a boat?

 

If so, would be a stretch to say that is definitely a large lake away from the city I would think

With how in depth the vehicles are in GTAVI I wouldn't be surprised if you stored your weapons in your personal vehicle. Which means you'd have to be a lot more careful and not blow it up.

That's my guess too. I wonder how the bag will be used though, whether it's just to store loot you find or if you can store an extra weapon or two in there to take with you.

I dont think it looks the same at all;

making the same game over and over is not a good idea.

 

the reason all the older resturants in kitchen nightmares suffer is because they never change anything.

 

id rather they worked on the older game and added more content than just to make it again

They seem to be emphasizing medical equipment and food, so I think the bag will expand how much ammo and supplies you can carry.

Motels and hotels are mentioned constantly in the world events. I think Jason and Lucia will have to constantly be on the run/in hiding and there will be lots of different places you can stay in.

maybe the motel is the starting safehouse for each area, or a part of the story inbetween safehouses; like one gets destroyed like the first in IV

 

idk anymore about each area, seems inbetween

 

or if its just the gta equivalent of the RDR 2 hotels;

 

 

if the police would remember their vehicle, maybe their clothes as well; and the hotel you can change your clothes in and wash off blood

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet. In one of the clips when Jason is walking around that red truck there's a camera on a building and a message says that it's recording. Could cops use cameras as evidence against you?

 

edit: there's actually multiple CCTV in that clip highlighted that says they're recording.
