That is a big thing too, I really didn't want to participate using leaked footage but the future of the mapping thread is kinda vague now, when it does come back after we get our first trailer, you can bet people will still reference the leaked stuff.

 

Before I make a fool out of myself, did all people who participated in the mapping thread of GTAV have knowledge of Los Angeles? I am hoping I don't need to know Miami or Florida in order to be able to participate lol

If said website is true there would be no dox really. Repeat offender that has already been in custody. If true I’d be surprised if he isn’t in a cell now.

 

But - and it’s a big but, he was a frontman for a team of hackers. So if said website is true it doesn’t prevent further leaks from his team.

 

 This is also his leverage in many ways with authorities. They’ll want to get them all.

Take Two just shut everyone up with complaints. In fact, new material is now impossible to discuss, any screenshot is a instaban. This is the relation they have for their players, it needs to be remembered, remembered just like they banned community mods, like they banned VR mod for GTA V, and many other spitting in the direction of people.

I'm sure Take Two won't take their houses if the mods don't react instantly. The mission here is to do damage control, everyone has seen the leaks, hiding them is not the goal but avoiding further spread is
