I hope GTA VI's map is as good as GTA: San Andreas' map. The desert area outside of the city that had no peds and stuff was really good to explore. I hope we get some low-level areas too in GTA VI, then the immersion would be insane. Please take a note Take Two, I know you guys are here.

Reviving my account which I made when there was hype and especulation about GTA V's release, god, I cherish the days when fans were building a database analyzing every trailer and bit of info.

 

Just wanted to say that while I feel for the devs and people that actually WORK on the game, I have 0 sympathy for Rockstar and Take 2. They went from being my favorite dev to Ubisoft level.

 

- GTA V DLC Cancelled

- GTA Online becoming P2W, ultra broken economy in favor of heavy microtransaction and everything being cut from SP to feed MP

- The quadruple dip (PS3 -> PS4 -> PC -> PS5) [I only got it for PS3 and PC, but that was quite a dirty move]

- Red Dead 2 also forcing a double dip delaying PC on purpose. sh*t performance and ugly ass TAA injected which makes the game have an oil over your screen filter

- Red Dead Online abandoned

 

I lost my hype and hope for everything Rockstar after RD2 (which was amazing from the storytelling and creative side, but performance and technical side...)

In this day and age, every game, franchise and studio you love will get worse, specially if they have given a shot at anything mainstream/online and it has generated good revenue.

 

Temper your expectations and you won't be disappointed. Sending hugs and good vibes to the OG crowd that was at the forum before GTA V sharing those magical days.

GTA V came out as I was fresh off high school. GTA 6 will come out 8~ years after me having a job in the gaming industry (and being disappointed and secretly disgusted about the majority of companies after working for and/or getting internal info from them and how they operate in the inside lol)
