but i think its more likely that take2 shows everyone their balls and nuke as much as possible down, as if nothing happend, ofc they will have huge discussions and some work-changes now, and i think a real announcement could possibly happen later now because they seem to first clean the mess, stay silent, and release info at a later point

Yeah! Knowing how game dev is, it looks promising, looks like the environment  is even more realistic, streets are made to look real instead of looking like regular streets.

Meh, it's bad however they deserved it. Milking out GTA V and keeping GTA O on life suport is their main sin. GTA VI should be in worst case scenerio realesed this year. We are far beyond "The worst case scenario"

I was away all day today so I was late to comment on THE thread. 

 

Reviving my account which I made when there was hype and especulation about GTA V's release, god, I cherish the days when fans were building a database analyzing every trailer and bit of info.

 

Just wanted to say that while I feel for the devs and people that actually WORK on the game, I have 0 sympathy for Rockstar and Take 2. They went from being my favorite dev to Ubisoft level.

 

- GTA V DLC Cancelled

- GTA Online becoming P2W, ultra broken economy in favor of heavy microtransaction and everything being cut from SP to feed MP

- Devs fixing and ruining everything that allowed players to get fast money asap (Car dup glitches, repeating missions with decent pay...) Everything else that actually ruined the experience (hackers spawning in private properties, god mode, people with 9000rpm grenade launchers making the game run at 5fps) was either patched late or never patched.

- The quadruple dip (PS3 -> PS4 -> PC -> PS5) [I only got it for PS3 and PC, but that was quite a dirty move]

- Red Dead 2 also forcing a double dip delaying PC on purpose. sh*t performance and ugly ass TAA injected which makes the game have an oil over your screen filter

- Red Dead Online abandoned

 

I lost my hype and hope for everything Rockstar after RD2 (which was amazing from the storytelling and creative side, but performance and technical side...)

 

My GTA 6 prediction:

- Same visuals as 5 (which we were able to confirm, you can say that "It's alpha, it will get better" all that you want, but it won't get better)

- Watered down campaign to appeal to PC and younger crowds, which seem to be the new majority of the GTA fanbase

- GTA6 will be a full price, short single player DLC for GTA Online 2, mark my words.

 

 

In this day and age, every game, franchise and studio you love will get worse, specially if they have given a shot at anything mainstream/online and it has generated good revenue.

 

Temper your expectations and you won't be disappointed. Sending hugs and good vibes to the OG crowd that was at the forum before GTA V sharing those magical days.

Omfg I hate this. They will release something when they’re ready for it. We just have to wait for it. People these days have no more patience for anything. We are in no position to force them to do anything. So f*ck off with your “that’s what you get” or “only yourself to blame”.

Do I want them to update us a little more? Yes

But do I have manners and let them do their own thing to release a f*cking masterpiece? Yes!
