I hope something good can come from this leak for the rest of the industry. The leak showed off a lot of rockstar's techniques to developing a game. A lot of devs saw that hopefully they can copy what Rockstar does and we can get better games all around.

I got the sense it was meant to be more realistic in the sense that if you're carrying a rifle (or a rocket launcher, etc), it should be visible on a shoulder strap, like RDR2, or like Max Payne 3 when he carries a shotgun in his left hand while wielding a pistol with right hand.  But there's no way to be totally realistic with tons of weapons in inventory.  I assume the duffle bag is for mission equipment or money, not something that would be carried all the time for weapons and ammo, though that would be a lot more realistic.

That alpha footage looked about 10 times better than Saints Row so I think we’re all good for the final release.

Says something about Volition when VI's alpha with all the bugs and choppy frame rate far outclassed their own finished POS. Say what you want about Rockstar but at least they handle criticism with stride and don't resort to dumb "haters gonna hate" gifs.

Like they'd have the ability to do this even seeing such stuff lol, RAGE is much more than just lines of codes on the screen, this can help modders though.

Even the earliest build of the game in these leaks (2019) was most likely after the dev reset (aka shortly after RDR2 came out)

if so i dont think they have a trailer prepared ready, the game is still in diapers. i think they are not allowed to make a decent trailer yet

It's because in many peoples eyes, Take Two is the culprit for the heavy microtransactioning in GTA Online and Red Dead Online, and people think Take Two is the one pushing Rockstar to only prioritize GTA Online the most. This whole event is sort of a win win for those people, because they not only got a legit free pass to watch significant footage of the next game, but it also delivered a major ''vendetta'' towards those culprits. On the other hand, I want more content in Red Dead Online, but this is no f*cking way to do that.

I also hope Ubisoft was taking notes. This is how you make your worlds feel alive. They're almost there but Ubisoft open worlds and games are always missing something.

Rockstar has been making some questionable things recently, but those motherf*ckers can make games alright, I spent my entire life, ever since I was just 6 years old, playing their games and even if they f*ck up a few times I'll stick by them to the end, it's not even a matter of quality, but loyalty for all the times I needed to scape from the problems I was having on my life and their games helped me with it.

Loved robbing people in Red Dead Redemption II but seeing this in GTA is cool. I don’t have to waste someone always for some quick cash
