It was obvious that GTA 6 would be set in modern days and in Vice City, GTA Online alone would make modern days needed so Rockstar wouldn't be restricted about what they could add to it in the future, anyone thinking otherwise was a fool.

I actually think I will love this, not for the realism but just because scrolling through a million weapons in your GTA V weapon wheel that you could never get rid of was really annoying. Especially in combat.

I thought so too. I've been to Quicktrip stations more times than I can count, and it definitely looks and feels super familiar to me. I have family in Tennessee and Florida, so I've driven back and forth through Georgia at least 69,420 times in my life lol

Ah well, not surprised the whole topic was binned.

 

Its a shame really, lots of news sites were picking up screenshots of said topic, showcasing just how the whole thing started. Would have been cool to let it be archived and be a part of history for future generations to see just how this thing unfolded. It is understandable though. 

 

Still awaiting to see how the firm reacts to this. Something tells me they're itching to let loose.

I don't know guys. I'm obviously really stoked to be able to get a sneak peak at VI, but the fact that the leaker is supposedly extorting Rockstar greatly concerns me. This has to be one of the biggest clusterf*cks in gaming history, and the kind of thing that could cause VI to have to be restarted entirely, or at worst, scrapped all together.

I know Jason was right about this, but he didn't see the entire map of the game, also I think those areas based on Georgia must still be part of Rockstar's version of Florida, I'm not saying that GTA 6 will have multiple states, I'm saying that its surrounding areas around Vice City will be based on Georgia and possibly South Carolina as well, but still being part of Rockstar's version of Florida.

I mostly hope that we will be able to fly smaller passenger aircraft. In GTA V you could only fly the Boeing 747 while all the smaller twin engine planes where solid objects stuck to the ground

Well he ain't right in the head. I mean really, I can imagine that being a standoff situation with any potential customers. The kid is probably too paranoid to pass that code over before he got the money and no one is going to pay money before they get the code.

This is weird, I haven't seen this clip mentioned. In one of the clips you're a different woman and you're carrying a ped on your back. It might be possible to kidnap peds RDR style.
