I disagree on one point, yes GTA VI will be less satirical but I think it will be more "mature" than GTA V. With GTA V we had a scenario based on 3 playable characters, one of which was completely sick (Trevor). If Jason S's revelations are true, I think that the scenario of GTA VI will be just as mature as GTA IV.

Hopefully when they announce it the wait for release will feel just like that.

When the dust settles and I have completed the game, become accustomed to the gameplay, etc. what will be my driving force? 
What will I look forward to? 
I can’t comprehend it

I don't think it's weird, when R* has to make an announcement about a game in development, there's a big quiet period behind it like for some GTA V communication times.

they could of changed their profile or give us a logo, unless they don't have it yet..

 

Perhaps they struggle to find a unique and very different logo from all the fanmade ones?

edit: Unless game is just called Grand Theft Auto.

Honestly, if they're keeping all the social commentary satire and parody of different US staples but reducing or even eliminating the phallic and innuendo humor to not pull focus away (if that's what they're going for) off a more mature storyline then I'd be perfectly content.

If Rockstar don’t go with pink/purple for the colour palette of VI, what colour do we think they choose? It’s hard to imagine another colour scheme apart from maybe sunset orange or blue (assuming it’s Vice City)

I feel like we'll be getting some wild "leaks" for that one. We've seen Los Santos/Southern San Andreas and Liberty City in the HD universe, so it's not a stretch to think Vice City would be the next logical GTA setting. As for VII, all bets are off.

 

That'll probably be my teenage children's problem then though.

Maybe yellow, like the color of the beaches?  I feel like they'll go with either pink or teal, but I don't know... it just seems too predictable.

Yoga is not serious. Instead you will get very boring serious activities. For fun you must read the in game newspaper politics weekly which is just boring politics they took out all the satire. Then you have to attend a boring lecture for like 2 real life hours because if you don't the protagonist gets shot and dies. It's not an interesting lecture either it's done on purpose in order to pass a mission.

The color of the logo will be something that fits the themes of the story rather than the setting.

 

IMO VI's logo will most likely look very different from all the fan made ones because we don't really know the themes of the story yet.

Right, tbh GTA V's logo doesn't really scream "Los Angeles", they went for the theme of the story - money.

Here’s the exact schedule:

 

Months 1-2: people will start playing and many will say it doesn’t live up for the expectation

 

Months 3-8: A lot of articles and forum posts comparing every single grain of sand between IV, V and VI

 

Months 9-18: A barrage of posts from VI haters vs VI lovers arguing which one is better

 

Months 19-24: The acceptance that not even VI will be able to fill the void that is modern humanity and consuming digital interactive media is just an excuse to move us even further from today’s society

 

Months 25-??: Announce VII
