The mysterious picture just happened to be displayed within Lil’ Probe’Inn, a UFO-themed bar.

 

I personally don't see how this suggests a VI announcement in October.

So far the only confirmation we have is that Chris Bellard (Young Maylay) won't be part of GTA VI.

 

Chris Bellard, better known as Young Maylay, provided the voice for the character. Though CJ has returned to the public eye as a meme, Young Maylay has made it clear he has no love for Rockstar. Alongside a screenshot of an article speculating on CJ's possible return, Maylay wrote: "I'm not involved in GTA VI at all."

These little things make a game beautiful. rockstar is the only company that would put so much effort into this and that’s why they’re the best. I hope it gets even better in GTA 6 which I’ll be surprised if it doesn’t. Would love to be driving down the street and seeing people working and buying things from shops

Be interesting to see what type of teaser trailer we will get. Will it be along of the lines of seemingly very unfinished like the first GTA V teaser in 2011 or more like the RDR2 one in 2016 which looking like a more living breathing world. If it's the latter it's plausible the game could release fall next year.

I'm expecting it to look finished and well made, since there will be a lot of scripted scenes. The announcement will probably reveal very little. The thirst will not be quenched and that would be the hard part imo.

Actually I'll be surprised if they manage to give at least the same lifestyle system from RDR2 without improvements, don't forget GTA 6's world will be way more crowded than any other, it's hard to give a scripted lifestyle for every single npc in this case.

I hope we'll have some interesting mysteries to solve in GTA 6, even more complex than the Infinity Killer from GTA 5, such as this one from real life.

 

 

I hope for a lot of creppy locations and stories in GTA 6, from far away in the past to recent ones, making us feel uneasy and in danger exploring the world, Rockstar has made a good job with the abandoned mine in GTA 5, but I hope for way more than that now.

Announcing it via UFO events sounds... Niche.

A pic with a timer for trailer drop is the best they can do.

That's why i kinda disagree with @Tez2 on that one.
