There are 9 more vehicles left on the drip feed for GTA-Online, which means at the current pace the last vehicle would be released on October 20th. The 25th Anniversary of the GTA series is on October 21st...Probably a coincidence?

There is also the Halloween event in the way though, but I suppose they could use that to add to the mystery?

Maybe they could announce the game on the anniversary of the GTA series (21/10) and unveil the trailer on the 20th anniversary of GTA Vice City (27/10 or 29/10 - I can't find a clear source mentioning the correct release date of the game)

Edit 2: The official release date of Vice City was October 27, 2002

A lot of the drip-feed collectible content is coming out all at once next week instead of staggered throughout the weeks and months. Lamar's weed collectibles, the Sprunk vs. eCola event, the service rifle crime scene investigation random events, and apparently "much more", all announced for next week. What if next week is a 2 week bonus with all of those things and we get an empty week afterwards?

Oct is always Rockstars month if not then the fall DLC for GTA Online could have another hint after that spring 2023 for a random logo announcement

i doubt they release the trailer on a friday

they want news sites to write about it, there is no "full" output when its weekend

Plus if announcement in october is probably the trailer is releasing

October 20 or 21 the most likely in my opinion

The last vehicle they can either drop it on the 20th or 27th with Halloween
