There are dirt cheap used copies. There is also emulation but that doesn’t always work.

Tried VCS on an emulator and was greeted by Victor Vance’s disfigured nightmarish face

 

I already have a PS2 copy of both LCS and VCS but I’m afraid that in the future I might lose them or break them. I also have had LCS on my phones both Android and iOS but mobile controls suck. This is why they need to be remastered or ported to modem consoles.

I don’t think it will impact the general audience as much in terms of sales but I definitely see this being the first major Rockstar studios release that hasn’t had almost perfect critical acclaim.

 

I just have a feeling it’s going to attract an awful lot of negativity and the critics are just going to slam it because of what has happened recently and because of key figurehead departures. Either that or a user review bomb. Very much the same way TLOU Part II was affected despite it being an outstanding game.

 

This day in age it doesn’t take much to generate hatred towards something and there’s a hell of a lot of reasons this time round to justify it by both professional critics (Dan Houser leaving) and general audience (tone down).

The thing is both him and Jason have been confusing about this. We don’t know what punching down would look like until the game comes out. Unfortunately there has been a lot of bad interpretation and people have ran with it and given it more attention.

But TLoU Part II was successful by pretty much every metric. It scored 93 on Metacritic, sold 10m copies in 2 years on a single platform. It even became the most awarded game of all time, if people actually care about some stupid awards that nobody knows about.

 

GTAVI will almost certainly sell that amount within 24hrs of its release (probably within pre-order period tbh). When your game reaches that kind of numbers, there's bound to be some vocal negativity, when you have f*cking social media stirring up sh*t 24x7. San Andreas would've created a similar sh*tstorm if it came out today.

There's absolutely going to be some major outcry from some people and social media if the game is as JS said in his article, but it's not going to affect its sales or ratings much I don't think as long as it's a typical R*-quality game. It's such an unnecessary tweet just to stir the pot lmao

 

TLOU 2 also caused outcry to the unfortunate point that devs were harassed, doxxed and so on but it was critically acclaimed and people liked it. The angry neckbeards within the gaming community just then went too far.

Look, I know this is stupid to talk about, but since rockstar have remade pretty much every map again except vice city what will we be seeing in GTA 7 in 30 years? I wonder if rockstar will just keep using the same maps over again or make a new one after GTA 6. Vice city, liberty city and los santos wonder what’s after that
