While listening to music while doing stuff, the RDR2 soundtrack came up on shuffle and made me think of the original GTA VI soundtrack. I really hope they get some awesome artists again, Woody Jackson has brought the best out of the artists they've worked with, from Tangerine Dream to the entire orchestras they used for RDR2.

I want the OST to be award winning too but in RDR2's case it fits the story, if GTA6's story is goofy more than serious it will feel weird.

Could HEALTH make a return? I know they did some stuff for Arena Wars. Their MP3 score was *chef's kiss*
Also wonder if the original score will be a collaborative effort again? As in, multiple artists getting credited as the composer, or just one main artist like Woody's work on RDR2?

About RDR2's controls one problem I have is having to slightly hold RT if I wanna make Arthur be ready to hip fire and aim that way, but for some reason this command is too sensible and most of the time he just shoots no matter how light is the pressure on the trigger, I hope Rockstar finds a better solution for this in GTA 6 and RDR3 like pressing a button to switch between hip fire and aim down sight using LT to aim in both modes, preventing us from firing the gun by accident.

I think maybe masayoshi takanaka’s work with woody Jackson recently could be for the gta VI OST. he made a post saying they were doing some work together for circoloco records, so we’ll have to see, but I have a good feeling about it

it’s crazy how many sound effects they reused from III for gta 4 and 5 ringtones lol. Just like franklins default. That ringtone you posted was used to censor one of the songs on GAME FM in III

They could very well bring HEALTH back, they still seem to have a relationship. It will fully depend on the mood of the game. I'd assume we're getting a collaborative effort again tbh.

Talk shows are gonna be weird af if Rockstar is “holding back” and “toning it down”. I honestly can’t even picture a toned down talk radio in a GTA game. What the f*ck would they talk about? lol

 

I’m not buying the tone down. It certainly won’t be a massive tone down. Rockstar could go all out they would have a f*cking field day.

As explained many times before, that is only referencing certain social groups and statuses such as minorities, GTA satire has never been about offending or shaming people for *who they are*. The common GTA politician, celebrity, society in general ribbing will be just fine, it's still done in GTA Online... Radio stations have been added to GTA Online and it's all good.

I keep seeing this mentioned about the next GTA in light of the Bloomberg article but mostly it’s referred to as a bad thing? Even though I don’t know how that’s the case.

Live service games are basically big multiplayer games which get many updates over time, basically GTAO. Live service games arent bad by default but the (justified) reason they are widely hated is because of companies ditching single player games for these live service models which are usually very repetitive, low effort, lack soul and riddled with microtransactions.
