I don't think they intended it to be High Quality in first place so + It is not made by Rockstar.

I don't think Defective Edition is a reason to be worried about GTA VI.

Fair, though keep in mind Definitive was outsourced to a random mobile game studio. Awful move from Rockstar, yeah, but they've never treated their own (single-player) games with that level of carelessness.

Developement times have went up and up and up and up with each generation. This is fact, we have enough developer accounts for it to the point that if you dispute it, you're a moron.

 

Lets use Ubisoft as an example. They pump out games like clockwork, right? Well a modern AC game takes something like 3-4 years to make, with a team in the thousands. These are copies that rely heavily on formulaic design, copy and paste assets, etc etc.

 

R* make some of if not the most detailed games in the industry. They make these games on this scale with this level of detail because fan expectations go up with every release, if they scaled back GTA VI to get it out quickly but as a result didn't wow us everyone would be livid. So if Ubisoft take 3-4 years to make an Assassin's Creed... how long do you think it takes Rockstar to create a RDR2, or GTA VI? It's not 2-3 years and that is a literal fact.

 

This isn't defending, d*ckriding, or whatever insult you want to throw because you don't know what you're talking about, these are facts that are easily backed up by first hand accounts from people within the industry. Games take longer than ever to make.

The issue is with the full word being autodetected by Google AdSense bots and similar stuff, yes we know this is a forum about a crime game but they're kinda touchy about some things when it comes to ads, search rankings and so on. Really no big deal and it's been in place since 2001 pretty much.
