GTA 6 Speculation & Discussion [Part 7] - The one with the announcement

On one hand the higher ups here keep complaining if people even slightly get their hopes up for a reveal and tell them it's not happening soon but on the other they dismiss anyone when asked about Part 8 of the thread. They tell us to keep our hopes in check but then do this sh*t, are they trying to tell us something coz you know this is "the one with the announcement" or are they on hopium as well?

Lol that's what I was wondering too. They say the forums can start behaving weirdly if a post has over 1000 pages, but for some reason they are still letting this thread go on... why risk the forum issues if you're not expecting anything, right?

 

Unless.... the staff members are too scared of @uNi and don't want him to be wrong, so they're letting this thread go on until the actual announcement just so he could turn out to be right in the end?

Can't blame people here, it's same, old, same, old Online this, Online that and that continuously for 9 years or over 4 since RDRII was released. Rockstar did absolutely nothing for SP community since 3 years, they didn't even bother to release next-gen patch for RDRII.

ARG is when a company makes you hunt for clues and solve puzzles to get some sort of reward
Imagine an escape room but on the internet
Like they post an image, it has a hidden link, that link has a QR code, the QR code gives you a weird string of characters that you have to somehow decode and so on and so on

Honestly, that was expected. R* didn't even bother to release a Pro/One X patch for GTAV, and that is their flagship title. They'll probably re-release the game at $30-40 somewhere down the line.

The answer to that has been repeated a few times in this topic but I understand it's hard to keep up  There's no 1000 page hard-limit, it's closer to 1600 where we started observing issues in the past and it might have been fixed, but for organisation and management purposes we cut off at 1000 or a bit before usually. No harm in leaving this the way it is, though the bigger the thread, the more taxing it becomes to process on the server, so we prefer them a bit smaller.

Ah, got ya. I thought it was above 1000 pages that some issues start happening instead of around 1600.

But why don't you create the new one when the issue just "MIGHT" be fixed?? and why do it this time????

maybe some of the admins speculated this year the reveal will happen, so they let this thread go even if nothing happens, part 8 will have 500 pages again I guess?

We'll reach page 2000 by the end of the year, guaranteed. Why put yourself through the pain that comes with threads after 1600+ pages when you can just make a new one

Lmao no, that wouldn't solve anything anyway.  It's just a quirk with the software, and I don't mind that much because tbh thousands of pages are a lot more intimidating than like 500

Vercetti Estate as is most likely not, but I bet there'll be nods and references to it. I can see Starfish Island returning tho, same name etc.

One thing that came to my mind today, as I was playing Vice City. You all know Jason has a robber vision ability or whatever it is called. Now what if we can rob the whole north point mall (given they include it, of course), all this while in freemode.
