How do you think the world will react to the trailer of GTA VI, I mean will GTA VI able to create the impact GTAV had? The internet went bonkers after watching the GTA V trailer. It was nothing like anyone had ever seen. GTA V had that thing...that magic....

Factoring in a lot of stuff whenever you look at the marketing assets, there's some color correction going on here, fake lights, motion blur... 

 

 

 

Check this video, this is the PC version and those animations are in the archives and you can load them in the game but this video looks a little better than maxed out PC, most definitely because it's heavily processed and edited for marketing purposes.

 

 

 

Just look how freaking awesome this second shot is, it doesn't look this good on PC Ultra.

I wouldn't be surprised if that would be graphics team exclusive build

I am expecting a huge reaction to GTAVI's reveal, way bigger than V's reveal, I do think this "reveal" will be affected by the leaks, imagine if we had no previous look at the game and the trailer would be the very first time we've seen it? the reaction would be unreal.

 

Either way, we are in for a treat.

The reaction will be no doubt very overwhelming because it's the most anticipated game. I part of GTA VI's anticipation is just because how good GTA V was, so everyone has very high expectations but with GTA V it was just because of the absolute jaw dropping graphics/overall feel R* came up with.

I don't know about you, but I consider it disrespectful to fans that they don't even tweeted about Vice City's 20th anniversary. A company that is what it is today thanks to its fans. That they continue with that absurd secrecy and with the little relationship they have with those who buy their games is really going to end badly for them. You don't have to spit up so much because someday the spit may fall on you. Rockstar earned the loyalty it possesses and credibility, but nothing is forever. They do not earn anything always having their fans in disgust most of the time, I insist that one day that bomb will explode in their faces.

Got to remember that the R* of today isn’t the same R* from 20 and 10 years ago. A lot of key members left and it’s very evident that all they care about now is milking GTA Online. The only reason why they made that half ass acknowledgement of VI earlier this year is because they were forced too in order to please the investors.

AFAIK R* staff have saturdays off (correct me if I’m wrong). It doesn’t make sense to announce a game whose announcement would most likely crash the R* website on a day staff have off.

Maybe it's just time for us to show once again love we have for this game. Rockstar themselves doesn't do a lot but I'm pretty sure, that they are watching videos community made and they probably really enjoy them. It's probably even more special to them when they see, that fans are using original versions of the game to make those vids, not DE. It just goes to show, that Rockstar's artistic vision is way more important for fans than fancy lighting or higher res textures, just another proof that they made excellent job 20 years ago.

The GTA VI announcement will be this generations 9/11. Years from now, people will be asking each other “Where were you when VI was announced?”, just like how people have been asking each other for years “Where were you on 9/11?”

Y’all keep playing these guessing games when R* themselves don’t even know when to properly announce it because It is not even close to being finished or even presentably shown and GTA Online is still making them a sh*t load of money so they don’t feel the need to finish up with the development at as faster pace.

Once again , do have a source or something telling you this? Or you’re just simply upset because the game hasn’t been announced yet? Blaming everything on GTA online really doesn’t take much effort to do at this point , people were doing that before the announcement and the pre-launch of RDR 2 as well it’s pretty much the only narrative people can still cling on to

Yeah as I mentioned earlier I think people expect R* PR and community management to be working on Saturday just because it's GTA VC's anniversary but that's not necessarily how it works. They could (not saying they will) very well address it on Monday and refer it was in the weekend.

 

But you can't reason with everyone. A lot of people think game devs should work 24/7/365 just for them.

I mean, people still celebrate them, so folks obviously still care. Hell, Persona just celebrated their 25th. Aside from that, it's not just that it's an anniversary, but milestone anniversaries tend to be noted.
