where's that guy that wanted to shave lucia's legs as a minigame

At least it's more creative than the usual "can't wait to play the washing the dishes minigame!" :prismkek:

Spoiler

And let's be real, can't say the shaving guy has a bad idea. 😉😉😉

I suppose that the interiors were probably more of an afterthought in V, since first person wasn't in the base old-gen version, so most of the interiors were added to the vehicles after the fact. In the Online updates and in VI for that matter, they will be designed with interiors in mind from the beginning.

Maybe the issue is that first person mode inside a vehicle is too close to the steering wheel?being too close you see the low textures. Not sure if there's a way to fix that, the reason I don't drive in first person. The shooting is fun though. Not because of textures but because the FOV is so bad.

Nah. There's plenty of racing games now that do first person driving fine. GTA will never be able to match the interior detail of those games as it's got more to it, but VI can still have some great interiors and the leaked footage shows they've stepped it up a notch in terms of detail, variety we'll have to see.

After seeing that leaked video with the individual interiors elements being adjusted.... now that's f*cking epic. I still can't believe they're putting so much detail that all those individual elements can be adjusted (the mirrors, seats, steering wheel, etc.). Even if we're not able to adjust those ourselves in the final game, just the fact that those are programmed in for the devs is already impressive enough.

I think the car interiors will definitely be much more detailed, and maybe even interactive this time. One thing I am willing to bet they'll implement is a visible GPS display inside the car that shows you a route; that'd be perfect for full immersion when playing in first-person without a HUD. :realisticsteak:

Saw the interior in the leaked footage too, now this got me pretty hyped

i never understood how people drive in 1st person. as soon as you bump into something or have a rough road, your view bops like a bitch. it's hard to see anything in general. it just doesn't work the way it does in real life.

3rd person driving, all the way, all the time for me

Has to be the first person look, too close to the steering wheel, it's weird.  The FOV.

I wouldn't get excited about being able to customise it to that extent as a player unless R* confirm it.

The reason I say that is cause interiors are VERY fiddly when it comes adjusting to the character models, first person view, etc. It's why we often see these types of games only have one height for all character models, that way the devs don't have to fiddle with every seat position, rearview mirror position, etc.

With VI we have Lucia and Jason who are of different heights and perhaps in GTAO2 we'll be able to choose our height as well, so the adjustment options in interiors might be for the devs who are tasked with making sure each character sits in the right position in each vehicle.

That said, devs *still* had to implement all the code for that stuff to be adjustable, so even if we can't finetune it like that in-game, it definitely looks like they're going to town with how accurately placed preset car mods will be, or adapt to character's heights, or whatever. Probably paradise for modders too lol.

Yeah, I understand that there's a pretty high chance we won't be able to adjust all that ourselves. I mean, it'd be kind of insane if we could, but I doubt it.

Still, just the fact that they programmed in individual interiors elements to be adjustable like that (even if just for the devs) is still pretty damn impressive. It really shows how Rockstar is willing to go the extra mile with some stuff when they have the resources and capabilities to do it. Can't wait to see what the full game will actually be like. :shillkek:

Yeah seen that one on steam too many times, and it isn't as a joke :bruh:

Men also wash dishes when they are alone. At least the ones that don't want to be eaten by cockroaches.

Or they can be helping their wives.

Grove Street Games is based in Grove Street, Gainesville, Florida. Sounds like potential for Rockstar to do some trolling. :prismkek::prismkek::prismkek::prismkek:

I wouldn’t get tired of that tbh, driving would be a challenge instead of just driving through the entire map like a maniac with zero consequences, i guess some prefer easy like GTA V and some others want that challenge, and the crashes and damage would be epic as hell. There were hundreds of compilation videos on youtube when GTA 4 came out, it was one of the most fun aspects of the game

I can agree with you. The destruction made it more interesting albeit you were never driving your "personal" car. It gives a "holy sh*t" factor if you damage your car via crashing/falling/explosions. I would love to have cars crumple a bit more in VI, but then I think.. this game is full of kids who will just bump into you at full speed either in free mode or in racing. But who knows?

Rockstar radio silent on Vice City’s 20th anniversary is a bit perplexing

Not even the 29th yet in New York, if they are to acknowledge it on a Saturday. :p The release date is the 29th as per the official trailers/marketing, not 27th or 28th.

They don't care about anniversaries. Simple. They'll reveal the game when it is ready.

Pointless take. They celebrated all GTA anniversaries to date. Tomorrow will be the first if they decide not to.

I don't think they were going on about a VI announcement necessarily, just an acknowledgement of the 20th anniversary. But it's not even time for that yet lol, timezones yo.

They don't really acknowledge any anniversaries these days besides GTA 5's. they didn't even talk about RDR2 4 year anniversary recently or even GTA San Andreas.

How many 4 or 18 year anniversaries have you seen people celebrate, just in general?
