I remember digging into the files for IV and finding the version they used for the credits, it still is on my playlist, just called CREDITS_THEME_TUNE, I have VCS's one too, I got it from the website years ago before Rockstar decided to remove them.

 

Liberty City Stories' intro was cool too but the music was brilliant.

They had a brief mention of the game in their 2013 conference too, announcing the PS3 bundle with GTAV, it wasn't announce of the game or anything though.

 

Man I miss summer 2013, it was the time when Rockstar was heavily marketing GTAV, the gameplay trailers in July and August, the batches of screenshots, the launch trailer, the freaking leaks, it was so freaking cool.

Some of you would have died during GTA V if you think this is embarrassing lol. It was every week, twice a week, with people expecting things, for 8 full months, during the info drought.  It's part of it unfortunately, but if nothing happens for a while I suppose it will settle down a bit.

 

I agree some of the theorising is plain crazy like "this snapmatic person has this pinned post, rockstar knew, gta6?!?!" but the rest is pretty normal.

I mean it's right in between 27th and 29th, the two possible dates for VC, it's a Friday, it's still October, they tweeted yesterday about Online so that's done and some other factors that speak for an announcement today. Really nothing can go wrong. We are ready this time, guys.

But with GTA V people only had to wait ~3 years for announcement since last GTA.. We're coming up on almost 10 years of waiting now

RDR2 was teased on a Sunday, not sure why they couldn't tease GTA VI on a Saturday.

 

Of course, I'd love it if I'm wrong and they tease the game today. My personal prediction/expectation is still a teaser tomorrow, and a trailer any time until 4th November. If nothing happens today and tomorrow, I think we're in for a treat either way.

- Post a Rockstar logo with a red background, it´s similar to RDR backgrounds but it says nothing on the tweet

- Refuses to elaborate

ngl given that hurricanes happen in Florida and GTA VC alluded to one being the reason the bridges were closed, I am sure we are at a point hurricanes can be implemented, even if just to look cool.

Tbh if I was to announce GTA VI I wouldn't think of vice city's anniversary. So what if the next game comes back to beloved city, it has nothing to do with the new game apart from the setting. Just saying.
