Lmao the people calling doom and "next year" just because of this GTAO event, I mean for all we know they could announce the thing on December 24th. It's basically impossible to truly predict, but hey, maybe it'll help them drop it when no one expects it

Ever since the leak/hack, everyone has been expecting a reveal every single day. When that reveal comes, it's not not gonna be much of a surprise. At least on single user on this forum will be counting down to 2PM/3pm Scottish time. People are now expecting the chance of an announcement every single day now. The whole world knows that GTA 6 exists. The ball is on Rockstar's court now.And the fans are gonna be staring at the twitter page every single day from here on out.

A simple teaser. That's it. That's all I want. I'd argue the leak did more for this game in PR than anything else could have (because it proved the game actually f*cking exists for one) and instead of capitalizing they go back to silence.

You having stopped caring means nothing, respectfully. It doesn't matter how little you care when the game hasn't even been officially announced. Once a teaser, trailer, or mere mention of GTAVI by R* and you would find yourself right here again anyway.

Well 10 years ago they tweeted on that day about Vice City, hence why that date probably. Also the apparent release date even though it's rather the 27th. In North America anyway. The chances are more likely it's about VC or nothing at all.

but that's you though, the ridiculous amount of interaction that those leaks had should tell you everything you need to know about the  degree of anticipation people have for this game.

My point was kinda that the leaks caused massive hype because they finally made VI feel tangible. IDK I just don't particularly like R*'s marketing strategy and i never have and probably never will.
